THE SMELL OF VANILLA takes over legosi's senses as he lays the soft girl onto her bed. her aroma was gentle and provided a familiar warmth to him that he couldn't place. it was sweet, and had the essence of purity and innocence - the type of innocence that you'd want for yourself, and always left him wanting more.
he turns around in hopes to leave bora in her state of peaceful slumber, but is stopped by the feeling of her small hand wrapping around his index finger.
"please don't go," she whispers and pulls him to lie next to her in the plush bed.
"hey," the gray wolf pulls his hand away quickly, the worry on his face obvious. "y-y-you're probably really tired right now and don't know what you're doing."
she groans and kicks her feet on the bed tiredly.
"i-i'm kind of scared-" a sob escapes her lips, but she covers her mouth to prevent any more from spilling out. "I just really miss home."
tears are breaking past her eyes, and legosi feels a slight change in the environment. it was the sort of mood change that everyone would dread to feel. it brought darkness and heavy air.
"it's okay." his hand twitches, and he reluctantly reaches over to place a hand on her small shoulder. he didn't know how to comfort the small animal, and all the words he wanted to say seemed to get caught up in his throat. "i-i'm pretty sure that everyone feels that way. you just gotta move past. pick up some good friends along the way. something worth living for."
"i don't need friends." she turns her head towards the window, smiling at the brightly lit moon. "i have the moon."
legosi joins her in staring at the surprisingly bright moon.
"i guess i do too."
