"SO WHY'D YOU bring me here?" bora asks, munching on a piece of bread. louis had insisted that she buy something else - but bora didn't want to be a burden to his wallet. after all, he had given her the honor of joining the acting club, and she wasn't exactly keen on looking for more from the red deer.
"i just wanted to know more about you." louis mumbles, his voice barely audible over chattering of excited animals. there was a small festival for kids in the park they were walking through, and they had happened to walk right past it.
"wh-what?" bora turns to look at louis, her eyes widening. that was how all romantic movies and books started.. right? a curious being stumbles into the world of someone else and they find themselves entranced by it, wanting to learn more and more about their interest. the flustered rabbit shakes her head quickly, hoping that any taunting thoughts of a relationship would leave her mind. besides, it was too pretty a sunset to spend it worrying about feelings.
"i guess that came out wrong." louis murmurs after noticing her flushed face. her ears were drooping and the heat from her face could almost be felt by louis. i just need to know about your past. then i'll stop bothering you."
"do I remind you of someone? specifically someone who goes by the name of haru?" bora questions, unphased by his sudden stop in movement. determination ran through her veins. she had to find out why louis would be so interested in a low-life such as herself.
louis stops for a second after processing her question, quickly checking his watch to make his pause seem as if it were for that and not her question. no matter how determined this little rabbit might be, louis was a high-tier actor who could imitate any emotion or action and use it to cover up his tracks.
"because I don't want you hanging out with me if i remind you of someone else." louis looks down at her, surprised. "i'm very sorry, but i don't exist for you to relive broken memories."
the red deer smirks to himself, amused by the creme-colored rabbit. size really played no part in her personality. although she seemed rather harmless in her white dress and beige belt, louis could tell that she was a force to be reckoned with.
"so," louis strays from the current topic, not willing to start a ridiculous argument. "i've noticed you hanging around legosi a lot."
"is it a problem?" bora replies unnecessarily sweetly. she glances at the bare trees, frowning at how distraught they looked. winter was slowly approaching, and everything had begun to take its barren state.
"how'd you meet?" louis continues.
bora pauses to think before smiling softly at the ground. although she wasn't all for memories, there were some that she wouldn't mind remembering.
"we met on the roof. the garden, i mean."
"is he nice to you?"
"i wouldn't have befriended him if he wasn't."
"do you like it?"
"like what?"
"legosi, I mean." bora stops moving and looks up at louis with a puzzled look, her skirt seemingly stopping in the wind too, along with her brain and heart. it was a simple question, a matter of feelings.
"do you like legosi?"
