BORA RUNS FRANTICALLY through the school, the tapping of her shoes filling the empty halls.
"room 147. excuse me?" she slows down to a stop and looks up at an anteater. "do you know where room-"
"sorry, i really have to get to class." he mumbles, then runs off in the opposite direction.
"hmph." bora scrunches her nose and crosses her arms, glaring at the anteater's back as he sprints off.
legosi sniffs the air, the pleasant smell of vanilla wafting through his nostrils. with his last shred of dignity stripped away from him by the alluring smell, he looks around, unconsciously smiling at the sight of the minuscule, cream-colored rabbit.
"bora?" legosi calls out, tilting his head at the lone wanderer. another round of vanilla enters his system, adrenaline shooting through his body like a bullet. legosi inhales deeply, the sweet fragrance seeping into his fur and skin.
"oh! legosi! t-thank god!" she runs over to the carnivore as fast as she can, and hugs him upon reaching him.
"uh?" he jumps, startled at the contact.
"i'm lost, and i can't find room 147!" she pulls out her schedule, reading the piece of paper over before holding it up to legosi. "see?"
taking the paper from her, he laughs before remembering to squat down to make eye contact.
"you don't have classes today." he points to the top of her schedule. "you have schedule B."
"huh?" her cheeks turn pink, abashed at her mistake. "oh. god, i'm so stupid." her ears droop and she wipes her eyes tiredly. "i couldn't get any sleep last night."
"again, happens to everyone." legosi stands up, and Bora rubs her neck, the embarrassment written all over the soft features of her face. she laughs anxiously and turns around hesitantly, not wanting to leave the wolf.
firmly grasping his backpack straps, he musters up enough courage to run after the rabbit.
"bora!" she turns around quickly, eager to find any reason to further talk to legosi. "would you like to - uh - come to the cafeteria with me?" he finishes with a flustered chuckle.
i know how weird this sounds, but i need you more than you think.
"o-of course!"
