Pictures of how I see Talia and Anna is above <3
Anna is @_.catalyst._ on Instagram and Talia is a random picture I found on the internet though she needs freckles and to be thicker... I couldn't find a perfect picture of what I have in my head...

*************************************************

I watched as the early morning light came through our yellow curtained window, basking the entire room in a soft yellow glow. I hardly had any sleep, I just had nightmare after nightmare about something happening to myself or Anna, one nightmare was even over Henrietta getting involved in our mess and fighting for us. Though these were just nightmares and not reality, they were still possible scenarios that could happen which was unsettling.

I waited until the clock on the wall struck 8 am before I decided to roll out of bed. Without the warmth of the down comforter I felt a slight chill in the air so I grabbed one of the fur shawls Anna had made and wrapped it around my shoulders. Slowly I tiptoed my way to the window, trying to not make a sound. I then carefully parted the curtain just enough so I could look out. I was careful to not let in too much light that would cause Anna to wake up. Out on the street below I saw two of Henrietta's pack members standing guard, there were also a few others seeming like they were pacing up and down the main street of the town. I appreciated what they were doing for us, but I still felt so horribly guilty that we got this innocent pack involved in our problems. I didn't want anyone to get hurt because of us.

You didn't force them to help you, they choose to. Its ok to accept help from others. Lyn said softly trying to comfort me.

It just doesn't feel right. I respond as I gently closed the curtain and quietly make my way across the room. I slowly opened the door then let it quietly shut behind me.

You feel like you are using them, but you are not. Anna has always been relying on you, its good that she let Henrietta in, there was only so long that our strength alone could keep us and Anna safe. Wouldn't you feel more guilty if you didn't get Henrietta's aid and then we are caught and Anna got hurt, or worse, killed? I paused on the stairs at Lyn's word and couldn't help the tightening feeling in my chest. I knew Lyn was right, just as Anna was right in telling Henrietta. We needed help.

I know you are right, but it doesn't mean I like it. Lyn accepted my response and left it alone at that. I took a deep breath to calm myself and continued walking down the steps then through the doors to Henrietta's kitchen, which of course she was already in and making breakfast.

"Good morning Talia!" Henrietta greeted cheerfully as if there was nothing wrong in the world and it was just a regular day. I couldn't help but smile.

"Good morning Henrietta."

"Ohhhhhh I am so excited for you and Anna! You both are going to head north today and in three days time you might meet your mates!" Henrietta practically squealed as she started stirring faster in her excitement. I wasn't even sure yet what she was making. I just chuckled, Henrietta is clearly more excited than I am. I know most girls dream of meeting their mates, but I was still weary about that. The more people you decide to let in, the more ways you allow yourself to be hurt. The ones that hurt you most are always those you are closest to. Who knows if my mate will even want me, he may not like that I am a lycan, or that I have killed people. He could reject me. Suddenly a male voice spoke from the side entrance to the kitchen that connects to rest of Henrietta's house.

"This is why we choose to live here, Henrietta just loves to see the girls get off the bus and meet their mates. How many mate encounters do you think we have seen now dear?" The man asked as he casually leaned against the door frame looking extremely relaxed. He looked around the same age as Henrietta but had more wrinkles and a slightly darker skin tone. His hair was a tad shaggy and as black as night but peppered throughout with strands of grey hair. He was taller than Henrietta by easily a foot and the doorway was just tall enough for him to be able to walk under without hitting his head, but just barely. He looked like the rest of the men from Henrietta's pack with extremely large muscles and an overly wide frame. He would be intimidating if he wasn't looking so lovingly in Henrietta's direction as he watched her cook. There was a softness in his dark brown eyes and a warm smile on his lips, I knew he was happy here, this was Henrietta's mate Charles and I knew it without a doubt in my mind.
