Chapter 15

"Come on Madi wake up, we are here" Wesley say shaking Madison to wake up "Okay just give me a minute" Madison mumbles Wesley got out and unload the two horse putting both the in a separate stall turning he see Madison get out and get her bag and pulled out nicer clothes that his her black police outfit and walk to the nearest bathrooms, Madison dressed and got her sunglasses and put it on and called Wesley walking to Dave's office 

"Dave always like to go big" Wesley mutter as they saw a copper bull statue been carried past them "No kidding" Madison replied and knock on his door "Come in" they opened the door and entered "Madison" Dave said looking her up and down Madison cleared her throat "Eyes up here buddy" Madison said feeling uncomfortable but not showing it, Dave look up without evening feeling embarrassed that he was caught checking her out

 "anyway where there any murders or attacks anything specious?" Madison asks still standing not bothering to take a seat "Well things went missing in the workers trailer like their lunch and some cash lying around"  Dave replied "Okay I am gonna have a look around" Madison said swaying her finger in the air in a circular form and turned around and walk out "What ya thinkin?" Wesley asks walking beside her

 "I am not sure if this is our killer" Madison replied looking around as people scurry around to get last preparations and stands up for the upcoming rodeo "Why do you think that?" Dave asks looking at her "Well it seems like he isn't careful like he should be" Madison said "Madison" "Did someone just call your name?" Wesley asks Madison to see Jackson and the whole team she waved them over and met Jackson in the middle with a hug

 "Hallo do I know you?" Jackson teased "You don't remember me?" Madison ask in
mock horror and they all burst out laughing and Jackson look at Wesley
 "Oh Jackson this is Wesley, Wesley this is deputy Jackson Storm" Madison interduce the two Jackson pull out his hand and shake Wesley but the two seems to be sizing each other up Madison clear her throat and they let go

 "You must be Brooklyn Caine's wife?" Madison ask the girl she didn't recognized "Yes, it's nice to meet you Jackson and the other guys won't shut up about you" She said with a smirk "But I must say you are like a freaking model girl gorgeous" she gushed Madison stood there "A – thank you?" Madison said feeling shy all of a sudden "So, what do you got so far?" Jackson ask looking at Madison "That there where money and lunch food been stolen" Madison replied "Poor guys I will kill the person stealing my lunch" Austin said making everyone laugh

 "Okay team look around and ask people question of seeing anyone suspicious" Madison announced  they all nodded "Okay Brooklyn and Caine off you two go, Charlotte, Austin and Wesley and then I will go with Jackson everyone meet back at my truck" she said and each went their way 

"Thinking we will find something?" Jackson ask walking beside Madison "Don't know even tho it can be someone else but to think about a rodeo isn't just at one town Jackson so maybe he will travel not sure tho but positive" Madison said looking around and walking towards the lunchbreak room. "I guess" Jackson said and walk in quiet till the heard a scream Madison looked at Jackson and both of them turned around and dashed towards the screams.

 Madison saw a body lying lifeless on the dirt and a girl crying over her body "Jackson
 I think he is here" Madison said in a whisper and walked towards the girl "Hi I am Marshal Madison Sterling can I ask you what happened?" Madison ask gently squatting beside the girl the girl look up with tears in her eyes "I-I w-went to-to g-go and h-hook up t-the t-trailer and came b-back after Mellie didn't c-come b-back" the girl said between hick ups and sobs

 "Did you see anyone else?"  Madison ask "N-no" she replied
"Okay what's your name?" Madison asks when she saw Jackson
 and a local police officer came towards them "Samantha Green" Samantha replied
