ARTEMIS SLEPT LIKE A BABY, well that was until hunter and steel came into her room and jumped on her bed until she woke up.
but the breakfast set out made up for it. artemis walked in looking like a mess, with her bedhead and puffy face, but she still smiled brightly as she sat down at the table. everyone else had already dug in, but she took her time. she wanted to savor it.
"don't you look like a sight." johanna exclaimed before chuckling at the girl. zella finally looked up at the girl and almost yelped in horror.
"what on panem did you do to your hair!" zella yelled before running to grab a brush. everyone else broke out in laughter.
"i think you look beautiful arty." hunter laughed, obviously joking. she rolled her eyes at him and started eating her breakfast. a few moments later zella started brushing her hair and putting solutions innit to keep it smooth.
"there! much better."
"thank you zella." artemis talked while food was stuffed in her face. but zella couldn't scold her, she was just so cute!
"let's talk business." johanna said sternly. "we've done well the past three years. we had 2/3 victors, and we need another one."
"and that means.." artemis let on, johanna raised an eyebrow before continuing.
"it means that you need sponsors. a lot of them. so you'll need to look beautiful tonight during the parade."
"hey arty, have fun. they're gonna laser your vagina!" hunter exclaimed before zella swatted the back of his head. artemis broke out in laughter, he was a funny boy. she couldn't help but admire him.
"did they laser your w-" steel was interrupted by johanna.
"we're here." she muttered before artemis jumped up to look out the window. she had never seen the capitol in person before, so it wasn't a surprise that she was a smiling mess. there were crowds of capitilians waving, and artemis couldnt help but smile and wave back. it was so beautiful, there were many skyscrapers and odd buildings. but it looked so modern.
"you better get up there steel, or she's gonna steal all your sponsors." johanna winked at the boy. "no pun intended."
the capitolians screamed even louder as the second tribute came to the window and waved at them. the train started slowing to a stop as the crowd of fans started to stand still until the train rolled into an underground station.
"come on steel, it's time to get your penis lasered."

if you were to ask artemis how she felt at this exact moment, she would say very vulnerable. she laid naked on a table as three capitol stylists stared down at her, none of which introducing themselves yet. they had already gotten to work, and she assumed they were almost done because they hadn't messed with her for awhile.
