"I need a saline and a pressure dressing." I faintly heard Clarke's mom demand as I was laid down gently on my back.

"I'm on it." A man responded before his footsteps moved around the area in quick motions.

"What's going on?" I mumbled trying to sit up before I was pushed back down by Abby's soft hands.

"Shh, Claudia. Relax." The older woman soothed, moving my hair from my face, "Your wound has been through a lot of trauma and it needs medical attention."

I shook my head stubbornly but nevertheless obliged and remained on my back, "Where's Bellamy? I need.. I need to see him. I need to see Bellamy."

I watched as she paused momentarily only making me more anxious, "L-Let's focus on one thing at a time." She told me as she began to tend to my injury.

I furrowed my eyebrows, propping myself up on my forearms as I watched her work, avoiding eye contact with me, "He's not here.. is he?"

Abby frowned and was about to speak when a woman dressed in gear and her blonde hair tied back in a bun approached us with concern, "Is she alright?" Her eyes trailed over the scene before her.

I glared at the woman, seeing guilt written all over her face and connecting the dots that she had been the one to jab a gun to my face. It wasn't her fault, and I knew that. But I was experiencing many emotions right now, including relief, anger, and disappointment. And the only person I really wanted to see or talk to right now was Bellamy.

"She will be." Abby quickly answered for me when she saw my expression, not knowing what I was going to say had she let me speak for myself.

The woman stepped closer, Abby noticed this, giving her a look of warning but it didn't stop her. "Where have you been?" The woman interrogated.

"Byrne." Abby began but I answered her question anyway.

"Mount Weather." I said shortly.

"The Grounders took you to Mount Weather?" She asked in confusion.

I shook my head lightly, "No. The Mountain Men." I corrected, realizing how many of my people, how many of my friends, were still in there. And they didn't even know what was happening right in that very building, "We have to get them out." I sat up completely, much to Abby's dismay.

She placed her hands on my arms, "We're not doing this right now." She made eye contact with me, "Right now, just let me help you. Then we can discuss any concerns you may have." She negotiated.

I sighed, but nodded in agreement.

...

"Hey." I whispered softly, greeting Clarke who had just awoken. She was fast asleep after her mom had cleaned up the both of us, our faces clear, minus few the red scars that were still healing from the obstacles we faced on our journey here.

She sat up, glancing down at my leg, a small smile tugging at her lips, "You're walking."

I smiled back, "I am." I chuckled softly, "It's still a little sore but nothing I can't handle." I sat on the edge of her stretcher looking down at her, "Your mom thinks you should rest."

"Yeah?" She rose her eyebrow, looking around our deserted room, "What about you?"

I let a small laugh escape my lips before humming, "Mm, she gave up forcing me to lie down after about 30 minutes when she realized I'm probably the most stubborn person on this planet."

Clarke laughed, reaching over her bed with a groan to grab her jacket, "Yeah, well, I guess 30 minutes is the time to beat." She joked.

I smirked, watching her throw on the jacket before I spoke, "Hey, thank you, by the way."
