"Come on sleepy head.." Sage picked up Libby and said goodnight to Liam. The three stayed up in the living watched some reruns of Friends and other classic nineties show but Libby finally fell asleep and was down for the count. Sage climbed up the ladder with Libby still in his arms and tucked her in her colourful covers. He smiled at how surrine she looked.
"Sleep tight, Bro. We have a big day tomorrow." Sage whispered to her, pushing a piece of her hair off her face. "Hopefully you can make peace with everyone, even that tattoo person." He mumbled, remembering what happened at dinner. "Oh well, you won't have a grudge on her, right dude? I don't know anymore." He sighed. "Night."
~Morning~
Libby yawned, stretching as she got up. She groaned lightly and rubbed at her eyes, soonly blinking herself awake. The girl nearly fell down as she felt nothing support her weight when she tried to get out of bed. 'How did I get up here?!' she quietly thought to herself, looking down at the floor and holding onto the sides of the bed. 'Did Liam put me up here?' she blushed at thought of him; most importantly, the thought of being in his arms.
"Snap out of it, Libby...!" She yelled to herself, slapping her cheeks. A groan filled the room as she dug her face into her pillow before getting up again. "I should just get up... yeah. Maybe I could could cook for my roomies this time! That's a great idea, Libby!" She said to herself, quickly scrambling down the ladder and walking down to the desk area of her bed where her suitcase was placed.
She zipped it open and snatched out a hair brush and mirror. Libby brushed her hair, styling it in the process. She wanted to impress everyone today. Maybe clothing and her style can express who she is and how she acts. Now that'd be impressive, huh? Once done with her hair she placed her suitcase down carefully, fully unzipping it. She selected out a pair of shorts and a crop top, quickly putting on the clothing items before sliding on some sneakers. She glanced up at Sage, seeing that the boy was still asleep. Libby smirked.
Her hands reached up to the ladder and she crawled up. Libby grabbed Sage and shook him, making the boy let out a feminine screech, pushing Libby off. "Libby, what the Hell?! I was asleep!" He snapped, getting up. Libby laughed. "You needed to get up, Sage! I couldn't just let you sleep in." She replied, smiling. Sage sighed.
"Yeah, yeah... do whatever you want, I need to get dressed." He grumbled. Libby nodded, quickly exiting the room and walking into the kitchen, only to see none other than Liam eating an apple. "Hey! Didn't know that you'd be a morning person." Libby teased, approaching the male. Liam shrugged. "I just didn't want to wake up late."
"But we don't have class, right?" Liam chuckled. "It's an online course, Libby." He paused. "Well, for some of us." The female frowned. "Are you?" Liam shook his head. "Jimmi is. He told be about it. Since he is doing online business, he does have to learn about coding." Libby nodded. "Well, I came here to make... um, um... pancakes for everyone." She exclaimed. Liam stared down at Libby. "What?"
"I doubt that."
"Watch me." She said, rushing to the cabinets to get some bowls and utensils. She then busted out the ingredients from the fridge and storage closet. The girl blent the eggs, poured one cup of milk, and then ½ cup of water. Libby quickly mixed the wet ingredients together before putting the dry ingredients into a seperate bowl. A small splashing sound came after as she poured the wet ingredients into the dry ones. She stared at the bowl before looking at the electric mixer.
"I have no regrets." She plugged the mixer in before turning it on, a loud sound coming from the blender as it mixed the batter together thoroughly. Once done she looked over at Liam. "Would you like to take the honours of making the pancakes?" She questioned, smirk on her face.
Liam looked at the pan and stove. "Gladly." He stated, turning on the oven and putting the pan on top. He poured the batter on top before waiting a few minutes and then flipping it, a satisfying golden colour beaming from the pancakes. Libby was impressed to say the least.
As time went on an even amount of pancakes were made for each person, the table neatly set up as pancakes surrounded the surface. "Good job, Liam! You're pretty good." Libby chirped, looking at the scene before them. "Hah, thanks, Libby." He muttered, a flustered look on his face. Just then before you know it people started to rush in, the two first few being Tori and Scarlett.
"You made this? Tch, it looks worse than expected." Scarlett snarled, putting her hands on her hips. "Plus, ya woke me up with that damn blender of yours so the attentions not worth it if it includes my eyebags looking like they can supply a damn costco!" She snapped. Tori sighed at the females attitude. 'She could be so rude... but also nice.'
"It looks great, Libby. What I'd recommend though is laying low on the eggs, these look quite fluffier than usual." She advised, smiling gently at the girl. Libby smiled back. "Alright, thank you, Tori."
"What are you guys waiting for, let's eat! The others will come to the table soon, so let's dig in so we won't have to be on dish duty!" Liam yelled, quickly taking his seat. Libby and Tori nodded, taking their seat as well. Scarlett looked at the food. She couldn't eat something made by Libby. "I'm going out. See you losers later." She muttered, walking out of the room and exiting.
Libby sighed. 'Why can't she just like me?!' she thought angrily.
