"Well Liam I'm not going to ignore what just said. I don't get emotional because I've seen this all before. When you truly love someone you'll do anything for them even if it means dying." She brushed a few loose strands of hair out of the way.
"Love's a weird thing, You live to be with them but then you die to be with them." She chuckled and faced Liam.
"You're wrong." Liam said making eye contact.
"Excuse me?" She said giving him a confused look.
"When you love someone they want the best for you, Dying is probably the worst option. If they truly loved you why would they want you to die? And didn't they have kids? Why would you just leave them all alone. Luckily there was multiple but what if there was only one? I couldn't imagine how hard it would be."
The boy was now staring off into the distance and turned to face Libby with tears streaming down her rosy cheeks.
"Libby? Are you okay." He said
"What you just described, is that really what love is?"
"Well I'm not a love expert, I mean it' just what I think it is..."
"I like your thoughts on love, That way no one's alone."
"Yeah me too." He said wrapping his arms around her waist for a sweet embrace.
"Libby"
"Yes?"
"I promise to never leave you alone. Okay?"
With this said she pulled him in even closer and continued to sob into his orange sweater.
"Please don't leave.."
"I wouldn't dream of it." He said kissing the short girls head.
