Libby blushed and nuzzled closer to the taller male.

"Thank you..." She whispered, smiling.

"Knock... knock... sorry to break the mood but, it's around midnight or something like that. Sorry to be that one character who keeps interrupting, but I need some sleep. Also, uh... are you two a thing now? New boyfriend? If so, nice person you're dating, Libby." Sage said, opening the door and stepping in awkwardly.

Libby blushed furiously and pushed Liam away, causing him to nearly fall over.

"Sage! You don't just ask someone that and make comments like that!" She screeched, making Sage groan.

"Well sorry for trying to be supportive!"

Libby blinked and gave Sage a look.

"Supportive?"

"Well, yeah. If you ever decide to date Liam or anybody, I'd support you. I've accepted the fact that what I've been doing was so damn stupid. I want to see you grow up and develop your own family better than ever. I want to give you that freedom. I'm not someone who could control your life now, am I?" He said, smiling. Libby smiled back.

"Does this mean I could finally where crop tops and short shorts?" She teased. Sage hummed.

"That's all that's in your closet so I can't stop that."

The two laughed and Liam smiled.

'So he's learning to understand that he can't just put up walls around her? Jamie did a good job in smacking some sense into him then.' he quietly thought, standing up.

"It's been a great night, Libby. Thank you for inviting me."

"Anytime, Liam. See you tomorrow!" She said, waving at him.

"Goodnight." He replied before leaving the room.
