Chapter 10

The two walked over to Libby's room, quickly entering and plopping themselves by the TV. "So, have you ever watched Notebook?" She questioned, turning on the television. Liam shook his head. "Never seen or heard of it. All I know about it is that it's genre is romance." Libby smiled. "This is great then, let's watch it! You might think it's a bit cheesy but it'll get better!" She exclaimed, smiling happily. Liam flared up and smiled back, watching the girl as she proceeded to insert the dvd into the movie player. Once inserted the movie started to play. Liam sighed. 'That thumbnail though....' he thought, staring at the two main characters kissing one another before glancing at Libby. 'Wonder why she likes these types of movies this much. Is she just looking for love? Maybe I can...'

He blushed at the thought. 'Pull yourself together, damnit! It's only been a few days!' He mentally scolded to himself, blushing furiously.

~Time Skip~

As the movie went on, Liam started to get emotional. "Why the hell did she get married to another person when she loves damn Noah! He's coming back, d-damnit!" Liam sobbed, grabbing a wad of tissues and blowing his nose. "H-hey...! It's okay, Liam. What if they, uh, get back together? Yeah!" Liam glared at Libby. "How do you know that?! What if she starts to love her new husband?! What if Noah gets assasinated?! What they move to Canada and one stays in the damn U S of A?!?" He screeched, wiping his tears. Libby was taken back. 'Never knew that someone like Liam could get so emotional with something like Notebook.' She quietly thought, taking Liam into a comfortable hug.

"Hey, hey, it's okay! They'll reunite, believe me!" She said, a bit of panic in her voice. Liam looked down at Libby. "How would you know this?... So much could happen in 2 years!"

"If they really did love each other, they'd come back together. If they didn't, then there's no reason to cry about it because it wasn't REAL. Okay? Noah and Allie will get back together. Allie would be so happy to see him after WW2."

"But-"

"No buts. Now calm down, okay? They'll have a happy ending with each other or someone else."

"..... Fine."

Progression of the movie went slow, nearly killing Liam when so many scenes were shown of Allie and her new man. But, when they finally saw each other again, Liam screamed. "T-they're seeing each other again! Oh my God they're seeing each other again!" He yelled, shaking Libby. The shorter laughed at the other's excitement, patting his shoulder. "Haha, yep! They're meeting each other!"

But as time went on and on, Liam screamed, again. "S-she's forgetting him?! N-no! She can't..." Liam bit his lip, watching the screen as he saw Allie forget and Noah explain it all to her. It kept repeating and repeating until, he saw Allie write their story in a notebook.

"Read this to me, and I'll come back to you."

Liam stared at the TV screen, feeling sadness and anger pierce through him. "Libby, can we pause the movie?" Libby looked at Liam. "Oh, yeah, sure!" She said, pausing the movie. Liam looked down. "How do you... how do you stand these movies and not cry or get upset in some sort of way? I don't get it!" Libby blinked. "Liam, are you okay?"

"Yeah, just..." He sighed.

"Ignore what I said. Ignore everything."
