Laurie: "What the hell are you talking about? This is my future! I want to do this and you cant stop me!" She stares at him. Waiting for him to respond.
Jeremy: "Laurie I know this. But I can take care of us all by me just working. You don't have to. You don't need to. Plus its the City. Kids don't need to be there"
Laurie: "Well why the hell not? I want to work Jeremy. They offered me this job and I want to take it. This may be my only chance to actually be something in life than a house wife. I want to dream big. I want my kids to have a wonderful life. I want them to know their mommy wasn't some woman that uses men for money or runs away from her problems. I want my kids to know that their mother was a hell of a woman. She worked her ass off until she died. I want to work for fashion and there is nothing you can do to stop me" she goes to walk away but he goes in front of her.
Jeremy: "If you walk through that door Laurie than...than ill.." He stares at the ground
Laurie: Crosses her arms. "You'll what Jeremy? You'll leave me? Because I want my kids. No wait our kids to have a happy life. To never ever have to worry about money? Is that what your saying? Because if it is than I'm leaving. And I'm taking them with me. With or without you. Because I can make it on my own Jeremy Mine! I've done since the day I was fucking born!" She grabs her keys and heads to the kids room.
Jeremy stares at the ground. Not knowing what to do or say.
