Ryan: She plays outside with her toys.
Laurie: She sits next to her. Drinking lemonade and designing something on her phone.
Two middle aged women power walk down the sidewalk.
A random lady: "Look at her! I know!" She whispers to the other woman beside her.
The other woman: "I feel bad for the little one. She doesn't know who her mother is. It's so sad." She whispers.
Ryan: "Momma? I think they are talking about you." She looks at her mom.
Laurie: "It's okay, Ryan. Just ignore them." She focuses on her phone.
Ryan: She looks at the women, who were still whispering and laughing. She stands. "Hey! Leave my mommy alone!" She begins to throw her toys at them.
Both Women: "Oh my word!" They power walk away angry.
Laurie: She looks up. "Ryan.." she stops her. "Hey. You little monster. You know you didn't have to do that?"
Ryan: "Well they were talking about you. And I didn't like it!" She crosses her arms.
Laurie: "Thank you honey but I promise I'm okay." She kisses her forehead.
Ryan: "My mommy!" She jumps at her. Hugging her.
