~Story~
Meet Laurie and Ryan Hart. A little of their back story is Laurie is from a very wealthy family and of course she went to college. But she fell hard for her teacher, her dad's best friend. She and him had a little relationship. She ended up pregnant and got scared but hid her baby and pregnancy from her family. After 3 years of keeping it a secret her father found out. He gave her a choice. College or the baby. She choose the baby. Having said that he kicked her out with her baby. With no money or any clothes. Sad and alone after being kicked out from her home and not being able to see her sick mother before she died she picked herself up. Ran off with some money she got and started her new life. Starting from scratch. After settling in for a few weeks in her new rented out house she started a new job. Being a assistance to a fashion designer. Hoping one day she would be able to be a famous fashion designer. Ryan just turned 3 and is loving having her own room. She has bunch of toys and loves each one. She loves her mother more though. She also loves her babysitter, Jermey. Who just started babysitting for her a month ago. Jermey is hopeless romantic. And fell for Laurie as soon as he met her. He wants to become more than friends but sadly Laurie doesn't feel the same...at least for now...
*Present Time* YEAR 1975
Willow Creek was a small town. Not much happened here at all. Though the nearby city had its lights and loud honking coming from a far. But Willow Creek was full of small, not very large, homes. Some just pieces of land and others with houses.
Jermey: His hair was short, freshly cut. Dark brown. His eyes also dark brown. "Laurie-" he grunts as he helps bring in some groceries. Setting them down in the living room floor. He turns to her. "You sure you don't need me tonight?" He asks her.
Laurie: Her hair was in a messy bun. Her hair black. Her ember eyes shinny through the baby hairs in her face. She lays down a large box. "No." She manages to say. She takes a breath. Tucking the hairs behind her ears. "I have a date tonight. But I'm going to cook for him." She cuts the box open with a kitchen knife. "I also bought some new plates and pans for tonight.
Jermey: Puts his hands in his pockets. "Oh.." He sighs. Staring at her. "He doesn't he deserve you.." He whispers to himself.
Ryan: Runs out of her room happy. "Mommy!" She yells as she runs at her mother. Her hair was black and braided. Her eyes dark brown. She jumped on her mother.
Laurie: Laughs as she falls back. "Hey pumpkin!" She hugs her. "Did you miss me?" She sits up. Still holding her.
Ryan: "Jermey told me all about how its bad to kiss boys." She makes a disgusting voice. "Mommy, I will never kiss boys!"
Laurie: She laughs and looks up at him.
Jermey: "Oh! I think you have more groceries out there. I'll go get them." He walks fast outside.
Later that night Laurie made lasagna and cheesy garlic bread. She set up two empty plates with red wine glasses across from each other. She wore a short purple dress. It looked expensive. She sat in one of the chairs. Staring at the other one. She groaned.
Laurie: "What is taking him so long?" She looks at the kitty clock on the wall. She read 9:56. She put her chin in her hand. Taking a drink of her wine.
Ryan: She peeked in. "Mommy?" She whispers to her. Half asleep.
Laurie: She quickly goes to her. "Hey pumpkin." She picks her up. "Come on. Lets get you to sleep." She walks to her bedroom. Laying her in her bed. After covering her up she closes her door. Sighing. "I'm sorry..." She walks back to the kitchen. When she does her phone vibrates. She grabs it from the counter. Flipping it open she reads the text. "Sorry! I had some paper work I had to finish up. I promise I'll be home in time for super sweetheart! Love you, Janey." She raises a brow. "Janey?" She slaps her forehead. "Of course he is married." She feels her phone vibrate again. This time reading, "Damn! Sorry Laurie! Meant that for my wife. I promise I'll satisfied you tomorrow at work." She rolls her eyes. Blocking his number in two clicks. "Asshole.." She tosses her phone on the counter. As she does she looks down at the dinner. Untouched. A knock is heard from the living room door. She walks up to it. "I hope that's you!.." She gets her fists ready. But calms down when she sees it was Jermey. "Jermey?" She looks at him confused.
Jermey: He looks at her. "Sorry." He almost falls over. A smell of booze came off him.
Laurie: "Really?" She groans. "Come on in." She helps him in.
After getting him to the couch and she goes to get some coffee. "Here." She hands it to him.
Laurie: Sitting on the coffee table across from him. "Had another bad night?" She asks him.
Jermey: He nods as he takes a drink of his coffee. "I hate living with those assholes. Man they keep taking my food and throwing it out. Calling it "fat food" He sets his cup on the coffee table.
Laurie: "They really are assholes." She sighs. "I know about assholes alright." She puts her chin in her hand as she groans.
Jermey: He looks in the kitchen. Seeing the untouched food. "Hey, how about we enjoy that food?" Before he gave her a chance to speak he grabs her hand. Pulling her in the kitchen. "Sit" He sets her down in the sit. He takes the one across from her. "Smells good." He starts to put food on his plate. He does her plate as well.
Laurie: She laughs. "Its probably somewhat cold by now." She picks up her fork.
Jermey: "So?" He takes a bite and swallows. "I use to eat the noodles raw every time my mom started cooking."
Laurie: She laughs. "I believe it." She snorts a little. Covering her mouth.
Jermey: He laughs as well. "Hey! Don't judge me! I loved the taste of them." He takes another bite.
