Sally's P.O.V

NAG NAG NAG

That's all I could hear from his mouth.

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?" He asked before a stinging sensation burned my cheek. "Yes, I'm listening." I said as I held back the tears that threaten to fall.

Why haven't I got use to this?

He always do stuff like this. He always abuses me. So why haven't I got use to this. "You know what, just get the fuck out of here! You disgrace full little shit!" He demanded with hatred in every word.

I looked away, then he grabbed my arm and pulled me to my room. "Stupid girl." He said as he slapped me again and left.

Ugh, I can't stand him! What type of father his he? I wish I went with Michonne while I had the chance. I remember her asking me if I wanted to go with her to the prison.

She said I would be safe. I should have said yes. I walked to my room and saw it was a mess. The recap of last night reminded me and my shattered mirror didn't help.

I quickly grabbed my bangs and cover my forehead. I looked every where. He attacked me with everything that was in my room.

"ASSHOLE!" I scream.

I grabbed my backpack and quickly started shoving clothing in there. I shoved shoes, clothes, medical tape, ammo, and some things that were important to me.

I can't stay here! He'll kill me! He doesn't care! I need to get out of here! I could go to the prison. But Sasha and Therese. I can't leave them here! But, they're older than me. They know how to take care of themselves.

I wore a black tight long sleeve top, my white over sized sweater that was covered in bitters blood, black tights, black wool fingerless gloves, I grabbed my guns that I hid from dad, and finally my black converse.

I looked out of my tiny window and saw that the sun is about to set. I can make it there. If I run. I can make it before dark. I knew I couldn't go through the front (guards).

So I snuck through the back. "Sorry Sasha, sorry Therese." I said as I took one last look at Woodberry and ran to the prison. I ran into the forest and ran right past a couple of bitters.

But that didn't stop me from getting to my freedom.

It's been 3 hours of running when I finally reached the prison. "HEY!" I yelled soon panting. I heard foot steps from the other side of the fence. I looked up to see a boy. Older than me I guess since he was taller than me.

I looked at him straight into his eyes. They were a pretty ocean blue colour. Suddenly a gun was shoved in my face. I looked over to see an Asian dude pointing a gun at me.

That's when I saw Michonne. "MICHONNE!" I yelled. I caught her attention. I could she her gasp as she ran to me. "LIFT THE GATES!" She yelled as the boy listened to her. Once it was lifted I ran towards Michonne.

I hugged her as she hugged me back. "Hey, it's okay, I know her!" She said as I looked around to see everyone pointing guns and a crossbow at me. "She help me get back here!" Michonne said.

"She's from Woodberry!" A guy exclaimed. "Please Rick calm down! We can talk about this inside." She said as Rick signed and lead us inside.

Everyone went back to what they were doing before. "Okay talk." Rick said as he sat at a table with a few other people.

"This is Sally. When the governor had me Sally helped me escaped. But before that she would nurse me and seal my wounds. Eventually I saw her as my daughter and I'm pretty sure that she saw me as a normal proper loving parent." she said as I nodded.

"Soon she helped me escape. But I knew that she would have to face the consequences so I asked her if she would like to come. She said no." Michonne said.

"Okay I have a few questions to ask you." I could see Michonne smiling, so I'm guessing it's a good thing. "What consequences did you faced?" Rick asked. I lifted my bangs to show and ugly scare that showed fathers love for me.

"There's more." I said as I fixed my bangs. Rick whispered something to the old dude and he nodded. "Who are your parent? And are they dead or alive." He asked.

I didn't want to answer that. Please anything but that question! "Well?!" He asked impatiently. "My dad-d is-s th-the Governor." I said almost drawing tears to my eyes.

"He has another daughter!?" The redneck said. "I thought he only had one!" The Asian guy said.

"No, he has another daughter, that's me, but he's to embarrass to call me his daughter. No one at Woodberry knows me. I'm a secret. And he always uses me as a punching bag." I said sadly as I looked down.

"W-well in that case, how many walkers did you killed?" He asked. "A couple dozen." I answered. "How many people did you killed and why!?" He asked. "I kill 9 or 10 people to help Michonne get back here." I answered.

"Seem's reasonable enough. Well Sally, welcome! Your now apart of our group." Rick said. "Really!?" I said amused and happy. He nodded.

"Here let's show you around. Then after Hershel can cheek your wounds." He said as he showed me around.

Now I'm safe. I don't have to stay awake making sure he wouldn't come. I don't have to live in as much as fear as I use to. I'm finally safe!
