Carl's P.O.V
She finally started to breath normally again, thanks to Glenn, Daryl, Michonne, and Maggie who went on a run and got some medicine and things for Sally. But the bad news is that she has a fever. Dad handcuff her to the bed just incase she turns.
But I know she won't turn! I know she'll live to see this cruel hatred again. "Carl, at least eat." Hershel said as he gave me a sandwich and a water bottle. I grabbed it and ate slowly. "Do you know when she'll wake up?" Dad asked.
"To be honest it's unpredictable." Hershel said.
"Goddammit Sally. Please wake up Sally! You've been sleeping for such a long time now. I don't know what to do! You've been asleep for 7 weeks now! 7 weeks Sal! When will you wake up? Your eye is green now but there's a nasty scar. Body is still bruised up, you need to take a shower, and eat. Your getting really skinny." I chuckled.
"Too skinny if you ask me. I like a girl with more meat on them, well enough meat to not see the rib cage. Did you know your hair grew a lot over the past weeks. It's longer now. I like it and your bangs grew long enough to cover both your eye and your scar." I said as I grabbed her hand.
Suddenly I felt her squeeze my hand. "HERSHEL!" I called as I felt her squeeze my hand again. "What's wrong?" Hershel asked. "She squeezed my hand." I said. "You probably imagined it." Dad said.
"No! Hershel pass me your hand." I said as he passed me his hand. "Sally if you can hear me squeeze Hershel's hand." I said. "I felt it." he said. I started to get all bubbly.
"Sally we need you to wake up now. Any longer and you'll die from starvation." Hershel said as her eyes started to move around. Her eyes started to slowly open, her emerald green eyes. Dad took the handcuffs off, but something seems off.
She looked around the cell. "Wh-Where a-am I?" She stuttered, "an-and who-o are you-ou peo-people?" She asked sounding scared. She doesn't remember us? "Where-re's my-y da-dad." She asked again. Oh shit, she must have gotten amnesia.
Dad sighed, "Sally, what do you remember?" Dad asked. "I re-remember that-that I was-as a-at home-me eating-ing dinner-er with-th m-my da-dad and my-y sister-ter Pen-Penny." She said.
Why is she stuttering so much? "Carl, we need you to leave." Hershel said. "Yeah." I said, I can't take it. It's painful to watch the one you love not remembering you.
~Later that Day~
I was in my cell not to far from hers when suddenly dad walked in. "She's finally starting to remember something's. If you want to see her you can, but just go easy on her." Dad said as I nodded my head.
I walk to her cell finding her under the sheets. "Hey Sally." I said. "Hey-ey Carlos-os." she said back. "What are you doing under the sheets?" I asked. "Hiding-ing." she answered. I chuckled, "What are you hiding from?" I asked.
"Hi-Hiding from-om everyone-one." She said. "And why is that? I want to see that pretty face of yours." I said as I sat on the bed. "Ugh-gh, f-f-fine." She said getting up.
I didn't realized till now that she has medical tape wrapped around her chest, stomach, and arms. "I a-am s-sorry for-or sc-scaring you." She apologized.
I got up and sat beside her wrapping and arm carefully around her. "You don't have to apologize." I said kissing the top of her head. "When do-o y-you thi-think I ca-can get-et up ag-again?" She asked impatiently.
"Until you stop stuttering and your all healed up." I answered. "H-Ha ha ha-a" she laughed sarcastically. We sat the in silence. "Carl, I-I'm hungry-gry." she said. "Okay I'll be back." I said as I got up. Then I felt her grab my hand.
"I wan-want to-o g-go too-o!" She said. "Are you sure?" I asked, she nodded her head. "Okay." I said as I passed her a shirt and helped her wear it. "Pa-Pass me-e m-my shoe's-oe's please-ase." She said.
I grabbed her converses and helped her wear them. "Ready?" I asked. "Ye-yeah." She said.
