Jungkook left a few days ago, and Taehyung already missed him. Although, their goodbye was sweet and consisted of many kisses and hugs. Taehyung truly loves Jungkook and couldn't wait to see him again.

However, a bad feeling set in the pit of his stomach the day after Jungkook left. His gut told him that something bad was to come, and he considered ignoring it. But when the feeling only got stronger the next day, it proved to be difficult to ignore. The next day, it was almost became unbearable.

It was a nauseating feeling. An awful twist of his stomach. A paranoia of everything around him. It made his head spin and ache, causing loss of sleep.

Taehyung had felt this feeling too many times to let it pass. And when he couldn't ignore it any longer, he started listening to it.

He turned on the TV and clicked to the news channel. And there showed a report and a picture on the screen. A picture of him.

He turned up the sound and listened.

"-Suspected for the murder of Wong Yukhei is V Kim. Officials say that V Kim is an alias for the formally presumed dead leader of the gang Kill Squad, Kim Taehyung. More on this case after this." The woman on the news spoke, and then the sponsors commercials started.

Taehyung's face went blank and he immediately got to work.

[Listen to it now, just because the sound goes with what's happening.]

First, he grabbed a pocket knife and opened the hidden drawer in his dresser. In the drawer held two bundles of cash totaling to over 1,000, three fake IDs, and a burner phone. He grabbed those things and then grabbed a backpack, putting his items in there. Plus adding dark colored clothes as well as clothes for day time, a small first aid kit, granola bars, and face masks to help hide his identity in public.

Second, he changed into a black shirt, a black jacket and other black clothing items, as well as a face mask. It was currently nine at night and he knew he would blend in better if he wore black clothes.

Taehyung checked if his apartment looked untouched one more time before he slipped on his backpack, put his pocket knife in his pocket, and climbed out his fire escape—leaving everything behind. He knew it was only a matter of time until someone figured out what happened to Lucas. Taehyung had seen multiple missing person reports for him in the last few weeks.

He knew this was coming. But that didn't mean he couldn't avoid it.

Taehyung closed the window and removed his fingerprints from it with his sleeve and carefully jogged down the stairs of the fire escape. He didn't touch the railing and once he got down to the street, he immediately darted into a alley.

He wasn't scared of being alone at night in New York, because he knew how to fight. He had taken multiple self defense classes in the last two years and had definitely worked out during that time. He was also wearing combat boots, and had a very sharp knife on him.

Plus, he was on the run from the cops for a killing someone. He doubted he would be messed with.

But of course, everyone thinks their tough in New York, and Taehyung wasn't too surprised when two guys kicked off the side of the deep alley and blocked his path.
