Jungkook woke up to an empty bed, but the aroma of delicious food being cooked. It took him a second to actually sit up, his eyes still only barely open when he did. He looked over to the digital clock on the bedside table and squinted to try and get his eyes to focus.

[9:35] it read. He rolled his neck, hearing it pop a few satisfying times, and eventually got out of bed. His barely awake self waddled to the kitchen, eyes still basically shut.

His sleepy-self went into the kitchen and found Taehyung cooking on the stove and singing softly. Jungkook smiled internally and went behind him, hugging the older from behind and laying his forehead on Taehyung's shoulder.

Taehyung chuckled softly, "Good morning, Baby." Jungkook hummed a 'good morning', voice thick with sleep. The older just smiled fondly to himself and flipped the last pancake on the frying pan, making sure each one was perfectly golden brown and fluffy.

"Smells good." Jungkook mumbled, moving his head to kiss behind Taehyung's ear softly. The older giggled softly and leaned into a Jungkook's touch.

"Thank you. I think you'll like it." Taehyung said sweetly, moving the last pancake to Jungkook's assigned plate. He put syrup on the pancakes and then turned around. The younger let go of the older when he turned, the older facing him with a plate.

"Go sit at the counter, Koo." Taehyung chuckled, handing Jungkook his food pulled plate. Jungkook gave a soft nod, turning and going to the counter, his brain still foggy and deciding to just do what Taehyung told him to do.

Taehyung stood at the counter in front of where Jungkook was sitting and waited for the boy to take a bite and see his reaction. Jungkook opened his eyes more, his pupils dilated because of the new light hitting them, making the orbs just that much more breathtaking.

"Eat, Darling." Taehyung said to the younger, trying not to get entirely lost in his eyes. Jungkook nodded a few times and cut into his pretty pancakes, taking a bite.

When Jungkook hummed in approval, Taehyung smiled proudly. "You like it?" The older asked, getting a defiant nod from Jungkook.

"Yes. It's good." The younger said nicely, "Koo approved." That made Taehyung laugh softly, loving how cute the younger was in the morning. His bedhead and how his unadjusted shirt showed off one side of his collarbones—milky skin soft and unmarked.

He was beautiful, Taehyung concluded. He was beautiful no matter what time of day it was. Maybe just Taehyung thought that, but God, he was an angel—basically glowing.

The two are their breakfasts' while making small talk. After eating, Jungkook insisted on washing the dishes since Taehyung made the food. The older agreed finally after a load of persuasion from the younger, ending in Taehyung sitting on the counter next to the sink while Jungkook did his small deed.

After that, Jungkook dried his hands and moved to stand between Taehyung's legs, hands resting on his thighs. The older smiled slightly down at him and ran his hand through the younger's messy, dark-ish brown hair.

"Do you have work today, Bubba?" Jungkook asked sweetly, leaning into Taehyung's touch when he cupped his face and ran his thumb over the apple of his cheek.

"I do, but only a small two hour shift." He answered with a fond smile, "But you are welcome to keep me company."

Jungkook chuckled, his hands sliding up to sneak under Taehyung shirt, loving how the older shivered softly at his touch. "I'd love to keep you company. What time's your shift?"
