The Game Plan

I wasn't just going to sit here and watch as Fox got killed, as I did Scar. No, I was going to learn from my mistakes.

I had another plan.

Remember how I told you if the Chosens worked together, they could just kill the door protectors and escape?

That's the plan Fox is now spreading to her fellow Chosens.

And it will work.

Now, they're hurrying to gather their things and head to the battle field. The security cameras will go off when the Battles begin; I'll be watching so that I can press the button on my collar to switch it off.

I can only distract the cameras for so long- 10 minutes to be exact. But by the time that ten minutes is up, I -and a few other hostages- will be waiting outside the battle door with weapons.

The plan is simple enough after that; as soon as they can kill the door protectors and get through the door, we run. Just me, Fox, and a few allies we've gotten together.

The Organization won't know what hit them.

"Okay. Everyone knows about the plan, and they're all on board." Fox explained to me a few minutes later.

"Perfect," I reply with a nod. "Everyone ready to go?"

"Yeah, we're about to leave now. Just wanted to say goodbye." Fox said with a small shrug.

"Please be careful, and don't make anyone mad. We need all the help we can get with this." I said back, my voice threatening to tremble.

"Don't worry Jett- we'll be fine," she said with a smile. Her smile reassured me, but I was still slightly worried.

"Just remember the plan, and stick to it." I said dimly, instead of saying what I really wanted to tell her.

"No worries; We'll be okay, and so will you." Fox piped optimistically. "Everyone ready?" She called out then, and walked towards the front of our large room. The other Chosen came to the front as well. Fox took a shaky breath, and pushed open the door.

This was it. It was up to me. If things didn't go as planned, Fox might die. There was no limit to how far the Organization would go to punish people for trying to escape. It was all up to me, and I was praying it would work.
