Don't call my name
Don't call my name, Alejandro
I'm not your babe
I'm not your babe, Fernando-"
"Alright, I won't call your name, but who's Fernando?" I heard a voice ask from the doorway. I jumped like seven feet in the air and screamed. I believed I was alone until about three seconds ago.
"STERLING! NO! NO SNEAKY SNEAKY NINJA!" I yelled at him.
"I didn't know I was being a ninja!" He said and put his hands up. I glared at him. He took this as an invitation and came over and kissed me
I went to see Benji, Lyn and the girls the next day. Sterling was helping Noah with something. In my car, blasting "I Believe In a Thing Called Love" with the windows rolled down, people were looking at me like I was nutz. But that's 'cause I kinda' am I suppose... Anyway, the twins were now officially four weeks old. So far, Benji and Lyn had managed to keep them alive. I consider this a win. An epic win. I pulled into the, mostly empty, parking lot of Benji's apartment complex. As soon as I got to the top of the stairs, and could see his door, I heard the screaming.
"Shhh, calm down baby girl." I heard Benji say just loud enough to be heard over the screams of the infant. Autumn. Of course the one they name after me is the one that gives her daddy the most trouble. I love that kid.
I knocked on the door, and Lyn opened it. She smiled when she saw me.
"Hey Mar," she said and went into the kitchen. "Want food? There's actually edible stuff in the place now." She laughed.
"It was edible before you know," Benji said as he walked over to me, "wanna' try?" He asked and motioned to his daughter, who was still screaming.
"Sure." I said and took the little girl from him. He sat down at the small kitchen table. The little princess in my arms quieted down almost immediately.
"I don't know how you do it, everytime." He said and rubbed his temples.
"She loves me, I mean she IS named after me."
"Our biggest mistake." Lyn and Benji said at the same time. They looked at each other and grinned. He pulled her to his lap and kissed her. As they parted he laid his head on her chest, and she kept her arms wrapped around him. Jasey made a few noises, letting us know she was awake, in the other room. Her parents just chuckled and grinned again.
The little interaction opened my eyes a bit. They truly were happy, and truly were in love. I told him it would happen sooner or later.
