I've been in my office for 2 hours straight finishing up paperwork and calling the respective Alpha's schedule a meeting. Working all day every day, taking care of a pack, and maintaining one of the biggest companies across America can be tiring sometimes.
I turned to the large window behind my desk stocked neatly with paper and a computer in my black and white themed office.
There was something about the forest at this time of night that make me feel free and at peace with the world. I grabbed my phone and put it into my back pocket. I left the Office and out of the pack house to the forest.
11:55 p.m. was the exact time I would go for my nightly jog around the territory to make sure the area was safe and secure and no one was out.
On my walk back to my house I heard something snap north of me, I quickly turned that way to be face-to-face with the intruder instead I'm greeted by trees, but there was a certain fowl scent in the air that only can belong to a vamp.
"Show yourself, vampire." I growled out.
A blur of black flashed past me making my black hair fall into my face.
I turned around fast enough to give myself whiplash and almost collided with a chest.
I steadied myself and went into a defense position.
" State your purpose vampire. " My wolf and I were on edge.
" Calm down wolfie, but what I want to know is why an unmated creature like you doing outside at such an ungodly hour." He said in a flirtatious way with a dumb smirk on his face.
This vampire was weird in more ways than one, don't get me wrong he dresses just like the vampires from the movies but with more on the healthy-looking skin side. He was somewhat dark skinned but not too dark with gray eyes that when you first lay eyes on him it is the first thing you see.
He was not lanky that's for sure he had muscle in all the right places.
The fact that he called me wolfie makes me want to rip his head off, I growled in response to his stupid question.
" Oh come on wolfie don't be like that all I want is a little blood from that beautiful neck of yours. " he said while hissing
I took a couple of steps back even though all the bones in my body are telling me to run.
" I will repeat why are you on my land." Using my alpha tone and my eyes turning a shade of gold.
He took a step forward slowing like a predator stalking its prey "oooh, wofie's is an Alpha, image how sweet your blood is gonna taste." He said like an excited child on Christmas morning.
"I'm here because I smelt you wolfie." he said in a matter-of-fact way.
I sent a glare his way to which he just smirked again, am so gonna wipe that off his face.
He takes another threatening step towards me, I growled a little louder but held my stance.
" You smell so Divine wolfie I could almost taste you. " He licks his lips. Now he was ticking me the hell off.
".Then come get some bloodsucker. "
He was fast but I saw it coming, he tried to punch me in my face but I blocked it. Somehow he got his hands in my hair, using it to his advantage to forcefully tilt my head to the right, to give him all the space he needed to have a drink.
He was so distracted, I lifted my left leg and kicked him in between his legs, while he uses his other hand to shield his precious jewels, I punched him in his lower stomach where his liver is located.
He let go of my hair and fell from the impact of my punch, he looks like he was struggling with getting the air back into his lungs.
While he was down I put my right leg on his neck and applied pressure until I hear a snapping of bones. Just to make sure he was dead I shifted and tore him to shreds.
I shifted back and take out my phone from my back pocket, dialing one of the pack members on patrol.
" Clean up on aisle 4. " I said into the phone as the person answered and hung up.
That vampire was such a bad liar, he was after something, and am gonna find out what.

On my walk back there were so many scenarios playing back and forth in my head, but the main thing that made goose bumps travel up my spine. I need to find a way to protect the pack and fast.
" I need a witch here and I need one here now. " I mind-linked my beta.
" On it. " he replied.
" There has been a vamp on our territory be in my office in 10. " I said with an edge in my tone.
2:54 am, look like am not getting any sleep today.
