I've been in this damn chair since two in the morning and my butt is cramping up.
" Rya get Kaleb in here. " I shouted from my office so she would hear me.
'I hope he brought food. ' My wolf said making her hunger known, I haven't eaten since yesterday. ' I hope he does too. '
Two pairs of footsteps approached my office, the door open to reveal Rya my Gama pulling my beta by the ear into my office.
I snorted them, Rya looked like a mother catching her child stealing the cookies she just baked.
"Let go of my ear you giant of a woman!" Kaleb shouts at Rya.
She was around 6'1 with chocolate skin, hazel eyes, and burnet-colored hair and wearing a sports bar and leggings.
Rya rolled her eyes at Kaleb and takes a seat near my desk. "Alpha " she greeted with a nod.
While Kaleb stood at the door using his free hand to rub his red ear and the other to hold food.
On account of seeing the food, my stomach started to war with my organs.
"Someone's hungry, do you want a burger with a milkshake and fries? Because that's all I got on me."
I got out of my chair, walked towards him, and grab the food from him.
"You know damn well I want the food". I said while putting fries into my mouth and sitting back down.
"So are you gonna tell us what happened last night or what?" Rya asked with concern lining her face.
After I swallowed and take a sip of the heavenly chocolate milkshake " It was a weird encountered mostly but what ticked me off was the fact he was alone, it would make you think that he was sent or something."
" Did you get me a witch yet?" I asked rising an eyebrow in question.
"Oh we did you one better, you remember Alexander Milles right?" Kaleb asked with a smile on his face. Alexander Milles the offspring of a witch and my gamma's father, is one of five hybrids around.
"What he's trying to say is my brother is willing to lend a hand."
"Hmm I don't know Rya, is he even stable to b-" I didn't even get the chance to finish my sentence when to the door was flung open hitting the wall. And it was none other than Alexander Milles himself with a furious look on his face and it was all directed at me, how sweet.
"So your not even gonna give me a chance to prove myself Vanessa, it was only one time." Alex fumed stalking into the room with his 6'3 frame, dark brown hair, pale skin, and green eyes -like nourished green grass.
"That one time cost us the lives of a hundred pack members Alex, until I see that you are fit to help protect this pack you are likewise as dangerous to this pack as a threat" I growled out.
A flash of hurt came across Alex and Rya's faces, I just narrowed my eyes at them.
"Alpha you can't still think my brother is still a danger, he's been trained to handle his emotions and Magic just the same" Rya voiced on behalf of her brother, who clearly isn't controlling his emotions that well at the moment.
"Fine but mess this up and I will slaughter you in front of the pack "I replied calmly.
Kaleb on the other has been dying of laughter because he fell off the damn chair, I don't even how the fuck he's my beta in the first place.
"Kaleb get your dumb ass up " I shouted in frustration.
In an instant, he's up on his feet dusting himself off.
"Now have a seat Alex, we have much to discuss in so little time"

After discussing all the events leading up to last night to get Alex in the know of the situation. I asked if he could put a protection spell on the pack that only myself, the beta, or gamma can grant a person access into or out of the pack.
"I can perform the spell but I need something in return" he stated.
"And what would that be big brother?" Rya asked stretching out the word brother.
" I would like to be a part of my pack again if the Alpha accepts my offer," he replied looking me straight in the eye while rising a perfectly shaped brow.
I rolled my eyes at him and open one of the many compartments on my left and took out the ceremonial knife and sliced my palm until crimson red started to slowly seep out of my wound.
I passed the knife to Alex and in turn, he did the same. I stretched my hand forward so he could join hands with me. " I, Alpha Vanessa Van Roman hereby accept you Alexander Theo Milles into the Crimson Moon pack," I said as I felt a new link forming.
"Now I shall do my part, could you all step back a little," he said smiling while looking at the wound as it slowly start to close up.
I stood by my big ass window that views the pack lands and the forest. He started to chant in a native tongue as the air in the room got a little cooler, at the end of his last word it was like I just got punched in the liver even Rya and Kaleb felt it. Resulting in my face being pressed up against the window, and my beta and gamma falling to the floor.
"And he said step back a little you could have given us a heads up about the impact dude" I sent him a glare and he just smile sheepishly.
Looking out the wind toward the blue sky with clouds moving along but then a glass-like dome appeared as quickly as it disappeared.
I looked towards Kaleb with a devious smirk which he returned "have one of the rogues test it out to see if it worked and Rya show your brother his new living quarters".
After they all left, I went back to finishing the paperwork and finishing my food.
20 minutes later, Kaleb linked "that damn barrier works alright, that arrogant rouge got shocked" I could only imagine him laughing.
In two day I will be hosting the Alpha meeting in my pack, lets's just pray to the moon goddess that this goes well.
