This is on the Destiny's Bounty but everyone has their own room cause why not

Kai was on his bed, thinking about Lloyd. He's so cute, and smart, and he always puts others before him. He was thinking. I don't deserve him.

So why do I want him so badly?

He really wanted Lloyd to talk to him. Just to hear his cute voice, to feel the happiness he always felt when Lloyd was in the room.

Then he heard someone knocking on his door. He got up and walked to open it. As soon as he did, a green lump fell on him.

"AAH" they both said as Kai fell on the floor, with Lloyd on top of him.

"Lloyd!" Said Kai, happily. "Sorry!" Was Lloyd's reply. "I was leaning on the door, and I guess I wasn't paying attention, and--" "hey, it's fine! I was actually hoping to see you!" Maybe now was the time to finally confess.

"Really?" Said Lloyd. "Why?" Kai was ready to tell him.

...

Kai was not ready to tell him. "Uhhhh..." he had to think of an excuse before Lloyd got suspicious. "I... um... I, Uh... I just, uhhh..." damn! I'm terrible at this! "I... wanted to... ask you..."

Lloyd looked at Kai like a weirdo. What's up with him? He's usually more articulate. He thought. He only stutters like this when something's wrong. When there's something he's hiding... "Uhmm... ugh, never mind." Kai had given up. Sigh, will I ever confess to him? Or will I keep chickening out forever?

Lloyd then told Kai that its training time and if he's not down soon Sensei will get mad and punish them all. "And trust me, none of us want that." He said. Kai followed reluctantly, not wanting to get punished by Sensei.

At the deck the other ninja were already there as well as Sensei Wu talking to them. As Kai and Lloyd came in Sensei focused his attention on the clock. "You're late." He said, referring to Kai. "What took so long?"

Kai replied, "I was... uhh... cleaning my room." Sensei said, "don't bother lying. Tell me what you really were doing." Kai asked, astonished, "what? How do you know I was lying?!" Sensei says, "you are not good at lying. You are hesitant and sheepish when you speak and you twiddle your fingers." OOF SENSEI

Kai sighs and laughs nervously. "Well, I guess that's from never lying.. cant develop skill in something you never practise!" "Lying again" says sensei, turning around. "Surely you can learn from porcupine here" he says, thwacking his stick on Kai's head, making him flinch as Lizzie smirks at the nickname Sensei gave him. "Lying will only get you in more trouble." He starts heading out, leaving the ninja to work on their own. "Training for 15 extra minutes today!"

Lizzie glares at Kai. "Nice job, Porcupine." Kai rolls his eyes and walks off to train with the dummy.

Lloyd was throwing energy balls (idk what to call it) at the dummy when he looked over to Kai. He's so handsome, and he's so strong. Thought Lloyd. He's outgoing and always willing to jump into action, no matter the situation. I wish I was more like him. He was interrupted by water splashing on his head. "Hey, dream boy! Wake up for a moment  so we can spar!" Said Nya.

"Why don't you go bother Jay or something." Said Lloyd. He then refocused his attention on Kai. "Jay's with Zane, Lizzie's asking a question to Sensei and Cole's going to go ask Kai if you say yes." Lloyd thought. If I say no to Nya, maybe I get the opportunity to talk to Kai. More water was splashed on his head. "Hey, Lloyd! Are you going to answer me?"

"I was actually going to ask Kai. Sorry, if Kai says no then fine." "Fine." Says Nya. "I'll ask Cole then." Lloyd smiles at his success and goes to ask Kai to spar with him. "Sure," answers Kai. Yes! Now I can try to tell him! Kai gets into a guarding block stance and they begin to spar.

Kai looks at Lloyd. "Why'd you ask me, of all people? Why did you decline Nya?" Lloyd is much better at lying. "I just didn't wanna fight a girl." -_-

"That's a bit sexist, you know. I thought we were past that." Sigh, crap. What do I do now? Lloyd tells Kai, that its chivalry, not sexism, to refuse to fight a woman. "Hmph, yeah right." Says Kai. "You know better than to say that to my sister. She would take offence." "Sorry," replies Lloyd, "but I just thought it would make me of more of a gentleman." Kai sighs.

"Lloyd, you're already so much of a gentleman, you don't need to try harder to be one." He says. "Wow, thanks! You really think so?" Asks Lloyd. "I don't think so... I know so, green bean."

Wow... based on experience, I'd say only people who like me call me a green bean. Kai must care for me. Thinks Lloyd. Luckily, I like him too. But he probably doesn't like me back the same way I do.

Kai looked at Lloyd the same way, but neither of them got the hint. RIP
