and Iwaizumi spend hours wandering the town. They had gotten ice cream at a small parlor and had spent a while wandering the sunset-drenched town, talking and laughing and just being happy. "...on't be like that, Iwa-chan!" Oikawa whines, stepping on Iwaizumi's foot.
"What the hell, Shittykawa? Is that how you get revenge? Stepping on people's feet?" Iwaizumi scowls as he yanks his foot away.
"I can do worse if you want me to-"
"Please, your heighness, give it a try."
"Someone got a kink~"
"No."
"Yes~!"
"No."
Oikawa giggles and turns away. It is one of his real laughs, one he only laughs when he is with Hajime. Oikawa suddenly remembers that he and Iwaizumi need to be at a party soon. He looks at his watch.
6:00 pm.
"Iwa-chan! The party is in half-an-hour!" Oikawa exclaims. Iwaizumi raises an eyebrow.
"Oh? Okay then... lets go." Iwa seems a bit disappointed, but Oikawa can't blame him. It is sunset hour, after all, and it was quite fun wandering.
They walk back to campus in comfortable silence when Iwaizumi speaks. "Hey, Shittykawa, what did that girl do anyways?" he asks.
"Eh? Well, I was a little late for our date. So I waited for thirty minutes or so. And when I was about to leave she turned the corner with Rokuro. It really isn't a big deal," Oikawa mumbles, shrugging. He is hurt by it, of course, but he doesn't let Iwaizumi know that. Iwaizumi nods and stuffs his hands in his pockets.
"She doesn't deserve you, then, if she ditched you for someone else," he says. Oikawa isn't all that surprised. Iwaizumi is always there for him when he needs it most, after all. Iwa looks away, his face a little red. Oikawa smiles softly to himself. They walk silently some more; no words need to be said. They can sort of communicate without speaking.

They reach campus, where the sunset has been blocked by the towering masses of dorms. The two jog up the stairs in one of the buildings and reach Mei's place. Mei is an all around fun person, and almost everyone at their college knows who she is. She's there whenever anyone needs her, and about half the guys like her. She likes girls, though.
