There's a void Oikawa Tooru needs to fill. It is slowly consuming him, slowly taking away his humanity, until he will be nothing but skin and dust no more. He tries to fill this black hole with girls, drugs, and sex, but nothing seems to work. It ju...

can barely stay awake. He's stuck in the endless cycle of going to uni, crashing in the dorm, waking up, going to the hospital, then going back to campus. Oikawa still hasn't woke up and it's been days. The doctors had to do a blood transfusion on him, but he stillhasn't woke up. It's pretty rare for a case to be like this, and though the doctors act like everything is okay, Iwaizumi knows it's not.
Oikawa's mom was a wreck when she heard the news.
She'd cried for hours and hours. Iwa can't blame her. The pain of losing two children must be so hard to bear.
Iwaizumi? He is barely alive anymore. He barely ate, barely slept, barely interacted with other humans. His friends are so worried about him. Makki told the story of the whole movie night to them, and they honestly weren't surprised. Iwa and Oikawa have been best friends for around sixteen whole years. It made sense they'd fall for each other.
Iwa's friends have been checking in on him often. They invite him to hang out after class, but he always declines. Who can blame him? He's too fucking scared for Oikawa. Iwaizumi keeps beating himself up about what happened, and the overwhelming string of guilt is always tugging in his stomach.
It's all my fault it's all my fault it's all my fault it's all my fault it's all my fault it's all my fault it's all my fault it's all my fault--
The cycle never ends.

The days turn into weeks. The weeks turn into a month.
Oikawa still hasn't awakened.

As of right now, Iwaizumi is sitting in Oikawa's hospital room, clutching his limp hand. "...Do you remember that day you almost got hit by a car when we were kids? We were soaking wet when we got to school. The teachers asked what happened and you explained the whole thing in such a strong voice, it was like you didn't cry the whole walk to school. Your parents were furious, haha. Thank god I stopped you from getting hit..."
I should've stopped you when you did this to yourself, too.
Iwaizumi stops talking and collects his thoughts. "Well, I'm gonna go back to campus now. I'll see you later..." Iwa rises from his chair and walks out of the room.
