Bill:
-the last bell of the day had just rung and it was finally the weekend
-you were excited to go to Bill's later
-you used to be popular, but when you fell for Bill you began to hang out with his friends and you were no longer accepted by the popular crowd
-you were at your locker reaching for your backpack when someone slammed your locker on your arm
-you pulled your arm back and held it, wincing as you looked up at Greta
- "hey loser, gonna go hang out with stutter boy now?" She laughed as she closed your locker, leaning against it
-now your backpack was stuck in the locker. Great.
- "Greta, please. We used to be friends. Why can't you just-"
- "you left all of us for a boy! Your friends! You never used to be like that!"
- "Greta, that boy and his friends have been nicer to me these past three months than you ever were!" you shot back. you were sick of her antics
-Bill walked up to you guys, frowning
- "w-what's going on?" he asked as he pushed past Greta to get to your locker, putting in the combination to attempt and save your backpack
-he never liked Greta, but he thought you still did
- "get out of here, Denbrough. this isn't your fight," Greta rolled her eyes
- "fight?" Bill stopped and looked at her with confusion
- "Bill, leave," you whispered with humiliation. You didn't want him to know you got bullied by your ex-friend.
- "oh whats wrong? you don't want your little boy toy to know how much everyone hates you?" Greta laughed
-you were about to protest the phrase "boy toy" before you heard Bill's voice
- "get out of here! you think she doesn't have enough going on in her life? your little threats don't effect her. she has a good support system now. It's unfortunate that your group of friends don't. Because you're all a*sholes. Now get lost!" He yelled
-he didn't even stutter
-unfortunately, the girl left because her friends called her name down the hallway, but you let yourself believe that Bill's words had a bit to do with it
-Bill grunted and you turned to look at your boyfriend, seeing him struggle to open your jammed locker
-you were about to help him but with one more pull the locker slammed open
- "why didn't you ask me f-for help?" Bill asked you as he took your books from your hands gently and placed them in your backpack
- "I didn't want to bother you," you explained, watching as he zipped up the bag and handed it to you
-you slung it over your shoulder, your previous comment earning a glare from him
- "i would have b-been able to h-help you, you know," he explained and took your hand as you two walked out of the school
- "i'm sorry," you said, ashamed as you began walking to his house
- "don't be. just let me help you n-next time. okay?"
-you nodded and squeezed his hand lovingly
