Kelley's POV
"Come on Kelley." Ash says. "It's time to go."
It's been two days since Jordyn passed away and today is her funeral.
We either had to have Jordyn's funeral today or in two weeks and Tobin and I decided to get it over with quickly.
A lot of the national team flew in to be at the funeral since they didn't have to worry about the Coronavirus threat because 2 HOURS after Jordyn's death they figure out a vaccine for the virus and a pill that cure's the virus and both are already in mass production and readily available.
"Okay." I say then I follow Ash out to a car and get in the passenger seat.
Once in the passenger seat, I stare out the window as someone drives us to Jordyn's funeral.
"We're here Kels." Ali says.
"Okay." I mumble then I get out of the car.
After everyone is out of the car, Ash and Ali lead me into the church where the funeral will be taking place.
The church is also the church Tobin attends here in Portland.
Once in the church, Ash and Ali lead me to one of the smaller sanctuaries in the church.
The funeral is in one of the smaller sanctuaries because Tobin and I only told the national team girls about the funeral.
"Hey Kelley." Christen says as she hugs me.
"Why'd it have to be Jordyn?" I mumble.
"I don't know Kels." Christen says.
"Ladies we'll be starting soon." Someone says then Christen leads me to a seat.
Once in my seat I drown everything out and think about Jordyn.
I miss my Bunny.
"Do you hear that?" Ash whispers from the seat next to me.
"I do." I say after I hear banging from somewhere in the room.
"What the hell is that noise?" Tobin whispers
"EVERYONE SHUT UP." I shout then the whole room gets quiet.
Moments later there's banging coming from Jordyn's casket.
"What the fuck." Tobin says then she looks at me. "You heard that right?"
"OPEN IT." I shout as I, along with the rest of the national team, run up to the casket.
When I get to Jordyn's casket, I stand next to it as they pry it open. Once the casket is open Jordyn sits up and looks at everyone.
"WHO PUT ME IN A MOTHERFUCKING CASKET?" Jordyn shouts. "CAUSE THAT SHIT AIN'T FUNNY!"
"Jordyn?" I whisper causing Jordyn to look at me.
"Kelley...Kelley why are you crying?"
"You...You died." I say as I tentatively touch Jordyn. "They told me you were dead."
Because Jordyn had COVID, we weren't allowed to say our goodbyes to her.
"I'm here Peaches" Jordyn says then she grabs my hand and puts it over her beating heart.
"You all see her right?" I question and look at the national team girls.
"Oh we see her alright." Christen says.
"Wanna get out of there Jordyn." Ash questions as she walks up to the casket.
"Yes please." The love of my life says.
Ash nods then she picks up Jordyn bridal style and lifts her out of the casket.
Once Jordyn is outside of the casket, I quickly bring my living, breathing, girlfriend into my arms.
"They didn't embalm you?" Tobin questions as I hug my girlfriend.
"They probably didn't have time too." Someone says.
"Your alive." I mumble.
"I'm here Peaches." Jordyn says then she kisses my cheek. "I'm here."
"Wait a damn minute." Julie says then she looks up to the ceiling. "Sorry lord."
"Why don't we move this conversation elsewhere." Christen says.
"Can we please go home?" Jordyn asks. "I really could use a shower and some fresh clothes."
"EVERYONE MEET AT JORDYN AND KELLEY'S HOUSE." Ash shouts.
"Let Tobin hug her." Christen whispers in my ear.
"I think you have someone else you need to hug." I whisper to Jordyn.
Jordyn looks at me then I motion to her cousin as I release her from my hug.
"Toby." Jordyn says then she jumps into her cousin's arms.
"This has to a dream." Tobin says.
"Does this feel like a dream?" Jordyn says then she kisses Tobin's head
Tobin and Jordyn have a moment to themselves while we all try not to cry.
"Can we go home now Toby?" Jordyn asks.
"Yeah Bubba." Tobin says as she starts walking away. "Let's go home."
"Come on Kels." Christen says. "Lindsey and Emily are going to ride back with Ash and Ali so you can ride with us."
"Okay." I say then I follow Christen out to her car
Once at Christen's car I get into the back seat with Jordyn.
"Peaches." Jordyn says as I close the door.
Once the door is closed, Jordyn crawls into my lap then I wrap my arms around her as Christen sets off for Jordyn and I's home.
"My Bunny." I mumble as I tighten my hold on Jordyn.
"I need a shower." Jordyn says.
"I'm so pissed at that hospital." Tobin mumbles.
"Oh I'm definitely suing." Jordyn say. "I was about to be buried alive because nobody checked to see if I was actually dead or not."
"And the funeral home." I say. "We're suing them too."
"Mhmm." Jordyn says then she nuzzles her head into my neck.
Jordyn and I sit in silence until we get back to our house.
"You ready?" I whisper then Jordyn nods her head so I open the door.
After the car door is open I carry Jordyn out of the car, into our home, up the stairs, towards our bedroom, then I set her down out side of our bedroom. Once outside our bedroom, Jordyn leads me into our bedroom, into our bathroom, then she locks the bathroom door as I start the shower.
The two of us then strip, get in the shower, and take a long shower.
After our shower, Jordyn and I get out, dry off, then go put clothes on. Once we're clothed, the two of us head down stairs to find where all our friends are.
"So what the hell happened?" Julie asks.
"I did die, but after a day I, I guess, woke up into a coma." Jordyn says. "Sadly, because of my ex, I know what going into a coma feels like."
"You know I'm surprised you two aren't crying more." Lindsey says and points to me and Tobin."
"Oh we'll probably lose it later." Tobin says and I nod.
"Toby?" Jordyn questions.
"Yes Bubba?"
"Can we order some food?" My girlfriend asks. "I'm really hungry."
"Of course Jordyn." Tobin says with a smile. "Let's get you some food."
