Y/N POV
Your office was a peaceful escape from the rest of the hectic company, you liked to play smooth jazz, maybe a little R&B, sometimes some chill rap.
And after Taehyung made the most outlandish request you've ever heard, you definitely needed to destress.
Shoeless feet on the desk with some smooth jazz playing in the background, you were pretty relaxed.
The saxophone was playing when Seulgi burst in, her head resembled a tomato with brunette bangs and long hair. "Are you insane?" She yelled at you, "You're gonna lose so much respect here, how do you plan to recover from this?"
"I won't need a recovery." You leaned back and closed your eyes once more, popping a pink Starburst in your mouth.
"What?"
"I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, nothing too big." You waved.
"I'm still not getting it."
"He'll realize it's too hard and he'll quit, then we'll start talking about the kill seriously." You chewed on the candy, "Hell I might just make a payment plan for the guy, I feel kinda bad."
"Please tell me you're at least paying whoever's involved extra."
"Duh, but it's nothing too serious, he'll be in and out in no time."
~~oh wow timeskip~~
The next day wasn't the smoothest morning, first you woke up with your bonnet off, then you fell off your bed, and then no access to coffee. So you hoped Taehyung's failures would bring you some type of enjoyment.
Driving to the building was pretty frustrating, traffic was a bitch and you flipped off at least three people on the 15 minute ride.
When you arrived, your mood was completely ruined, and running into Taehyung didn't even uplift it.
He waved and smiled at you, but his wide grin faded off when he saw your angry expression. "Follow me," You practically grunted at him.
He followed directions, closely and silently following behind you.
Eventually reaching your office, you sat in your chair and popping an orange Starburst in your mouth, you looked at Taehyung. "You want one?" You asked him, pointing to the candy jar.
"No," He shook his head, "I start training today, remember?"
"Yeah," you waved your hand, dismissing what he just said. Then you looked through a few papers, looking for who he'd be training with that day.
"So how exactly is this gonna work?"
You sighed, "Usually trainees would learn gradually in groups, rotating between a few teachers a day."
He nodded.
"But to even get them to basic fighting it takes a few months, and we don't have much time. Lisa probably already knows we're after her." You continued, "Every few days for two weeks you'll be going form teacher to teacher, they'll be teaching you the basics and you have to master all of it by the time you get to the next teacher. If you want to make it here."
He nodded again, this time taking all the information in, you almost laughed, it looked like he actually believed in himself.
"Don't expect this to be easy," You warned him, "You can quit now if you want."
He shook his head, no.
"Alright," You sneered, "Your first class will be combat with Park Jimin."
"Park Jimin?" He repeated.
"Yup, go down to the second floor, he'll meet you by the elevator."
Taehyung nodded once more and walked out of your office. Once he left, you chuckled to yourself, you've rarely heard a satisfactory report about experienced trainees from Iimin. The man has only been satisfied by people who truly pose a threat to him, and Taehyung was the complete opposite of that.
Taehyung wouldn't last a day.
