Taehyung was thriving.
His exemplary performance only irked you more and more as the seemingly impossible trainers tell you how much of a good student he was.
Seokjin, a man who's critiqued even 5 star meals, told you Taehyung could cook "a great steak."
Mina, practically a Japanese grammaticist, said, "His Japanese is perfect,"
He may have been a flawless prodigy, but it only made your original plan much more confusing, how would you be able to drive the man out by making him known as the perfect trainee?
You only had one hope, and he was sitting in the office adjacent to yours.
You walked to his office, shortly knocking on his door before bursting in. Shutting the door behind you, you quickly sat down on one of the chairs. "You need more comfortable chairs man."
Hoseok looked at you, shocked. "Give me more money then." He then started sorting his papers on his desk, "Plus it's not my problem if your ass hurts."
"Dickhead."
"Shut up," He grinned, "But what do you want?"
You took a a deep breath and let yourself relax in his chair a little more, not going too far as you were wearing a dress. "Remember when we first started and we got the first wave of trainees and you became the trainer?"
"I swear, Y/N, if you make me train 19 year old children again, I will-"
"You won't do shit."
He took a deep breath, not disagreeing with your statement, "Go on,"
You sighed and moved around in the uncomfortable chair, gripping the black handlebars on each side. "I want you to train someone for me."
"You have other people for that."
"I do, but they don't do it like you."
"Stop kissing my ass and tell me what's going on."
You sighed and straightened up, "His name is Taehyung,"
"Holy shit," He laughed, "Is it the guy who you're letting kill Lisa?"
"You've heard?"
"Who hasn't?" Hoseok continued to laugh, hands on his stomach. "What's your plan? Make stuff so hard he quits?" He continued to laugh.
"Yeah," You quietly said, hoping he didn't hear you.
"Who let you be CEO again?"
"You, idiot."
"I'll do it," Hoseok said, bringing your hopes up, "But don't think I won't be honest with him."
"Duh, I just want you to take on a few missions. He'll quit after seeing a dead body."
"He probably won't, but okay." You went silent, letting Hoseok talk. "This isn't about some money, this is his life. Without your help he definitely would've died trying by himself." He continued, "I'm saying the guy's determined, he isn't trying to kill her just cause."
You paused and thought about it, Hoseok wasn't wrong. Taehyung was fighting to live, and one of them definitely had to die for this to be over. And even though you don't know about Taehyung, you knew Lisa, and based on your history with her, you'd rather her dead than anyone else involved.
She was dangerous, Taehyung was right about that, and not many had a chance against her. Her and her organization would have him dead by tomorrow morning if you gave him no protection. Shit, you had to take this guy seriously.
"We both know Lisa, he'll be dead by tomorrow. Give him somewhere to stay with guards or some shit."
You nodded, "I'll get it organized today, you and him start tomorrow. We gotta rush this."
"How would you survive without me?"
"Don't get too full of yourself." You got up and walked out of his office, but before you left you turned and told him one more thing. "Seriously, get cushions or something."
"Goodbye!"
