Seulgi POV

I never thought I'd find myself sitting in a at next to Jung Hoseok, taking a bite of a double decker hamburger in my mouth while he watches me, waiting for a feedback.

"No, no," He corrected me, "You gotta take a big bite, like huge." He opened his mouth really wide, causing me to laugh and in turn putting a fear that I'll chuckle out a sautéed onion.

I nodded and opened my mouth even wider, shortly biting down right after. The patty's juices went down my arms and the tastes of beef, onion, lettuce, pickles, and melted provolone cheese came together beautifully and forced me to put the burger down and let out a muffled groan of satisfaction.

"I know." Hoseok's nodded, sipping his sprite. "Now chew, chew, chew." He placed his hand under my chin, pushing it up and aiding me chew.

I started swallowing the now burger mush, Hoseok took no time to notice, lifting the sprite he'd ordered me right next to me. "The second you're done swallowing, take a big sip of the sprite." I looked at him, my eyes asking the question that my mouth didn't, "A big sip?"

"Trust me, Seulgi."

My heart jumped when he said my name, and it did about 6 flips when he smiled at me.

I followed his directions, and I groaned yet again, "Woah,"

"I know."

"That was magical."

"I'm telling you, never doubt the burgers and sprite duo."

Instead of responding to his statement, I let out a huge burp. Saying a quiet "excuse me" right after.

Hoseok took bite of his burger, quickly chewing and speaking again. "I wanna make a rule."

"Which is?"

"Whenever we eat burgers and sprite together we don't have to say excuse me every time we burp."

"Well isn't that manners?"

"We're close, we don't need manners to figure out if we like each other."

"Like?" This left me a bit confused, where was this guy going?

"Well, people use manners to get the other person to like them right? So no one else thinks they're a horrible person with no sense of respect."

"Go on."

"And we've known each other for years, so we don't need manners anymore, we've gotten past that point of judgment."

I nodded, "That was deep, man." I took another bite of the burger. "I will still say excuse me, though."

"Hey Seulgi,"

"Yeah, Hoseok?"

"I really like hanging with you."

I laughed off the awkward squeezing in my chest, "You sound like a teenager." One of my fists playfully landed on his arm, causing him to smile and flinch a little.

"Whatever, that was stupid anyway."

"No it wasn't," I turned to look at him, a smile spreading across my face. "I like spending time with you too."

"Really?" Hoseok's face lit up,

"No, I just wanted to see how you'd react."

The brightness on his face immediately went dim.

"I'm just kidding!" I joked, "You're not too bad to be around."

And for another hour, we sat in his nice car and ate juicy burgers whilst talking about how good the meal was.

When we got back to headquarters I noticed Hoseok looked at me a bit more than usual, smiling, grinning, even winking.

If I were honest, it was flattering but also confusing. We've known each other for years, what exactly changed? Why did it change? How did it change?

Yikes I'm asking too many questions, I need to get back to work.

Y/N POV

The day at work was fairly boring and uneventful, for the most part it was just the usual signing papers and controlling finances.

Honestly the most interesting thing that happened during work was Seulgi and Hoseok going missing for longer than lunch, but it was a pretty depressing since you had nobody to talk to for a good hour or so.

After work you felt like you've been set free from that boring building that was tiring too look at for too long. It was a bit contradictory considering you own the building, but you couldn't care less. All you wanted was to get home, take a shower, put on your new purple satin bonnet that you thought went so well with your skin tone; and get your black ass to sleep.

By the time you had your checklist almost done, you were exhausted, and that bed of yours was looking especially nice.

It was raining outside, the sound of the drops hitting the ground was especially relaxing.

Jumping on it with a huge sigh, you lay on your pillow, covering yourself with your blanket and immediately beginning to drift off to sleep.

And then there was a knock at the door.

Initially, you thought it was all a mind trick you were playing on yourself and you ignored it, but then there was a ring of the doorbell and another knock.

Frustrated, annoyed, and a little mad, you stomped to the front door, looking through the keyhole.

When you saw who stood outside, you felt a wave of confusion wash over you. But nonetheless, you opened the door.

"Kim Taehyung," You asked the tall man standing at the door.

"Yes?"

"Why do you have two suitcases in your hands?"
