jihoon hated to admit it, but he sorta misses the loud and boisterous soonyoung. sure, he was still enraged at how the elder accused him for plagiarizing a soundcloud artist's piece, but jihoon most likely would've let it slide. seungcheol seemed more quieter nowadays as well, often switching off his phone quickly everytime jihoon approached him. it raised a few suspicions but at the end of the day, jihoon just ignored it and spent his time sulking.
today was saturday, seungcheol and jihoon's hangout day which was officially created to make up for all the lost time that the two never spent together due to jihoon being a stay-at-home gremlin. the two were seated opposite each other at a café table, where jihoon seemed to have a lack of interest in his coffee and instead was scrolling through his past messages with soonyoung, which consists of a lot of one-way flirting (soonyoung to jihoon of course) and little banters which were just plainly for fun.
seungcheol rolled his eyes, "i can literally remember all your texts with soonyoung, this is no joke the fifth time you've been reading through your texts for the whole week."
jihoon's head shot up as he defensively glared at seungcheol, before softening his gaze and slumping his shoulders in defeat. "well, you're right but i miss.. him." the words surely did not sound right coming out of jihoon's mouth yet he meant every single word. seungcheol tilted his head, seeming to be contemplating what to say, before settling on a, "it'll be all fine, you'll get your happy ending." jihoon raised his eyebrow, the elder only gave a small smirk.

soonyoung was lying on the floor of the dance studio while breathing heavily. usually around this time, he would be spending it by accompanying jihoon home. but of course, he hasn't met jihoon in quite awhile and he slightly regretted lashing out on the younger despite knowing what he said was correct.
junhui peeked into the room before deciding to join soonyoung on the floor. "how are you holding up?" he said cautiously. obviously soonyoung told him about the situation, it was a mandatory bro code to tell him about losing contact with a possible love interest.
soonyoung flipped over, his cheeks being squished against the floor, junhui just gave a small smile and poked his cheek. "not well, i read his messages literally everyday but im honestly sure he most likely blocked my number." hope definitely wasn't something soonyoung had anymore, he knew he shouldn't have been so harsh, and look where it got him.
junhui clicked his tongue before pushing himself up and reached his hand over to the disheveled dancer, who gladly toon it. "get your mind off things, let's go to the nearby café." soonyoung shook his head, the café was when soonyoung first properly talked to jihoon, it certainly wasn't going to take soonyoung's mind off his current situation.
a small ping! was then heard from junhui's phone. he decided to click on the notification, which was a link. junhui sighed, thinking that it was most likely another adorable compilation pet video that minghao would constantly spam him with but instead, a more serious article came up.
SOUNDCLOUD ARTIST BUMZU ADMITS
TO STEALING HIS LATEST SINGLE "MOONLIGHT"
FROM A MUSIC PRODUCER CALLED "WOOZI"on june 21st, an interview has been conducted with a popular soundcloud
artist called bumzu. fans were perplexed when the artist seemed to have
difficulty explaining his newest single "moonlight", seeming as he would have
constantly stumbled over his words and not knowing much about his own
piece. some speculations were made about the piece, and after a week, bumzu
had finally admitted to it not being his own product and instead was from
another smaller artist who goes under the online alias "woozi".soonyoung was curious as to what junhui was gaping at on his phone, so when he immediately clicked the link junhui forwarded to him, the fatigued expression on his face soon morphed into a "oh my lord i screwed up" look, because soonyoung had indeed made a terrible, terrible mistake.
