all existing matter and space considered as a whole.🌌
he was truly radiant. even though it was 8 am and a bit too early for a spontaneous dock date, he still remained shining throughout every minute awake.
oh if it wasn't clear enough, it was jihoon's poetic heart describing his pathetic excuse of a boyfriend, soonyoung. soonyoung was just that type of guy who had a glowing aura trailing behind him wherever he went. the amount of energy he gave out was incredible, which made him a very likeable person in everyone's book.
jihoon was more of the brooding type in everyone's eyes. well except for soonyoung, that boy thinks he hit the jackpot when dating jihoon. sure, he may seem a little moody, but the truth is that jihoon still truly required some attention as well, especially after soonyoung's dance lessons.
it was small things like these that the two enjoyed learning about each other, it wasn't exactly the most major and life changing topics out there, but they sure wanted to know everything.
the current time is 8 am. 2 hours too early for jihoon's liking but he was absolutely whipped for soonyoung, who barged into his own home and dragging them to the docks. the two currently sat side by side just enjoying the company of the other, no words exchanged as the scenery of the ocean was enough.
a few seagulls flew past right in front of the two, which nearly made soonyoung fall off the dock and give jihoon a mini heart attack. "hey soonyoung," jihoon began, "you know your dance competition that's coming up?" soonyoung nodded, he was competing in a dance competition for fun but also to hopefully win and get some recognition.
"well, would you like me to produce the music for your dance? if you don't want to, i understand and its completely fine-", soonyoung placed his hand on jihoon's thigh to tell him to shush.
"hoon-ie, stop you're rambling. and yes, i would like you to produce the music for my dance."
jihoon looked somewhat relieved, "would you want to visit my producing studio?" soonyoung then froze for a few seconds, before turning over to face jihoon and nod frantically.
"yes yes yes! i've always been wanting to, ever since you told me you make music." soonyoung was grinning so wide. "hey, but why the sudden change of heart?"
"if we're going to be boyfriends, i feel like i should tell you about my favourite spot in the world." jihoon just replied.
soonyoung nodded, "i thought your favourite spot in the world was my bedroom though seeing as we-"
soonyoung didn't get to finish that sentence as jihoon already smacked him on the head.
🌌
soonyoung now stood in front of a small studio, to be more specific, jihoon's studio.
a small sign was hung on the side of the door, reading universe factory. jihoon then spoke up, "this is my little safe space. where i spend most of my time at." he then added, "also you're the first person to enter so you're pretty privileged."
soonyoung smiled, "wow, jihoon has a soft spot for me."
jihoon clicked his tongue, "i'm regretting this decision."
soonyoung shook his head, "nope too late to back out babe," he said, gripping jihoon hand, which still remained on the door handle, and twisted the handle.
🌌
it was beautiful. the room had the most wonderful ambiance to it. there were neon signs hung around the room, soonyoung spotted a microphone and a small stage on the right side of the room, there was also a table packed with devices and contraptions for making music.
there was not much light in the room, the only light was coming from the neon signs and the computer screen. jihoon sat on the sofa and patted the seat next to him, where soonyoung then sat on. it was so different, different in a good way though, he could see why the younger would stay here constantly.
he felt jihoon's presence move from his side, his eyes followed the younger who then sat down at his worktable. "here, i made something the other day. i'm planning to use it for my music project, do you want a listen?"
soonyoung nodded, fiddling with an unplugged microphone. jihoon then added, "also don't be afraid to hold back on criticism, i'm decent at handling it." clicking on a button, the speakers suddenly played a lo-fi song, something soonyoung haven't heard in a long time, but was reconsidering listening to it again.
jihoon spun his chair so that he was now facing the elder. "what do you think?"
"i'm not the best at describing music." he thought for awhile, "i can guarantee that i absolutely love it though, i love the flow and the vibe it gives me. it's different though, your music is always on a different level."
jihoon coughed, "um, you can criticise me too."
"nope, no complaints. its perfect, like you."
jihoon was blushing furiously at this point, he's just glad that the darkness of the room was able to conceal his tinted cheeks.
"thanks. thanks soonyoung."
soonyoung smiled, "always, also when are we going to produce that legendary track you promised me about?"
"fun fact, i actually made one that i hope you would like." jihoon grinned, swirling around his chair to face his laptop screen and choose a file. "give it a listen." he said, switching the music.
the lo-fi music immediately disappeared and a more upbeat and fast paced song came on. "i call this one shoot me. i even have the lyrics here too." soonyoung was bewildered.
"how'd you- when'd you make it?" he stuttered.
jihoon giggled, "i was bored and right after a few days we met, i was inspired so yeah! and now i finished the song, feel free to make changes but i will be waiting for the choreography."
jesus, soon young thought, i think i fell even more.
"so, you're up for this?" jihoon said, snapping soonyoung out of his thoughts.
"of course, anytime my love." soonyoung said with a wink, laughing when jihoon pushed him out of embarrassment. he flopped over, taking up the whole space on the sofa.
"a singer and a dancer, one day we'll be taking over the world."
"one day."
end.
