I run down the hall chasing on a little figure in front of me, it was my little brother, Taohan Lu. My breath is getting heavier as he had the quirk speed that makes him as fast as lightning.
"y-you win Tao, I can't keep up," I said breathily finally giving up and slowing my step.
"Nee-san is weak!!" he giggled as I place my hands on my knee supporting me from falling.
'for god sake how am I supposed to win against sonic' I thought as I sighed and shook my head. He's still young but he keeps getting stronger.
"Ok that's enough you two, here y/n, take this towel" order xiao, our housekeeper that has been taking care of me and Tao since we were little. She's like a mother to me as well.
I thank her and took the towel to wipe off sweat on my cheek and neck. I finally managed to catch my breath and stood up straight.
"Y/n, the master called you, he's in his office" She suddenly said which makes my eyes widen. 'all of the sudden?' I thought. He never calls me at this time of the day, he'd usually be out training his students or in his office working.
Xiao seems to notice the look in my face and chuckles softly. "Don't worry, it can't be that bad" she smiles
"sure" I rolled my eyes sarcastically and chuckles.
I start to walk down the hall of our traditional looking house. I couldn't help but feel nervous 'I shouldn't be nervous right?! He's my father, yeah...'
I stopped walking and stood in front of the door. I quickly throw away my nervousness and open the door.
I walked in with a big grin "HEEEEYYYY how's the greatest dad in the wo-" "sit down" he cut me off.
"yeesh ok," I mumble and sat down on the sofa in front of his desk.
He was sitting on his desk chair with a serious expression written on his face. 'nothing??? This atmosphere is CLEARLY something' I thought starting to worry if I'm in trouble.
Just a couple seconds later he started to talk "y/n, your grandfather and I-" "OK IF IT'S ABOUT MY SEARCH HISTORY I SWEAR IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!" I busted out the nervousness that I was holding in.
"what the- no! It's not about that- this is about your school" he said confused.
"oh-" I froze on the spot realizing I just embarrass myself.
"did you- I'll check that later" he sighed. "please don't-" I reply stabbing myself from the inside.
He sighed while shaking his head and continues "anyways, this is about your education".
"huh? What about it?" I asked finally snapped out of the embarrassment I was in.
"your grandfather and I have come into an agreement to push you further into learning and improving your skill in combat and quirk. To achieve that you need more than practicing with your grandfather and me" he stands up and walks over the window narrowing his eyes.
He observes the view outside the window before opening his mouth "we've decided it's best for you to continue your study at 3 famous hero schools abroad"
I quickly stood up with my eyes widen
"3!!? ABROAD!?" I shouted feeling a mix of confused, shocked, and somehow excited but mostly confused at the absurd idea.
"yes, each year you'll transfer to a different school. The top three best hero school in the world" he explained
I stood there still in shock and confused "is that even possible? Or allowed?" I asked.
