Chapter 7 :: lost control

I waved my hand and greeted her slightly but I was cut off by another person "IT IS YOU! MY GUESS WAS CORRECT!!" he said very excitedly to the girl I was about to talk to.

She looked confused and he continued to gush over something I didn't understand. She ended up having a conversation with him and lost her attention to me. I sighed and walk towards the other way. maybe I'll talk to her later

I saw someone walking towards me, he seems like he wanted to say something but what caught my attention is his hair, confused was the right word, like, how does one have a hair that stands taller than jimmy neutron's??

I was about to greet him back when another human suddenly jumped in front of me out of nowhere.

"IT IS YOU! MY GUESS WAS CORRECT!" he said in front of my face. I was surprised but that turned into confusion right after.

"I'm sorry? have we met before?" I asked back. he seems a little disappointed which makes me feel bad

"I'M SORRY IF I OFFENDED YOU, YOU SEE I HAVE A HARD TIME REMEMBERING NAMES" I blurted out waving my hands up and down on both sides.

"NO NO it's ok! we've only met twice. there's no way you could have to remember me from such a rush" he replied scratching the back of his head.

As if lighting struck me I became stoned."t-two times??" I stuttered.

Two times??! when? where?! what?!?! h o w.

'Good job on being a jerk y/n' i scolded myself while trying the best I can to remember. he did say it was a rush so maybe I was not paying attention to faces? or was I just distracted?

"sludge villain," he said to help me remember as he saw the puzzled look on my face. I raised my head from the ground to look at him.

"you saved me and kacchan from the sludge villain! that is when I first met you!" he said with a smile.

"What the hell did you say NERD!!?" a rough voice came from behind him. It's that spiky blond boy.

My brain began processing, I finally remembered "oh, OHH! OH MY GOD" the realization was hitting me. he chuckled at my response

"That was you?? I mean that WAS you, but you joined UA??" I asked and paused for a while  "OHH and you were that guy that tripped at the gate on the entrance exam!"

"well, yeah" he confirmed though he seemed to be a little embarrassed about it.

"my name is Izuku Midoria" he introduced himself.

"y/n lu, you can call me y/n" I shook his hand and gave him a bright smile.

"oh, uh, nice to meet you y-y/n" he returned my smile with one of his own.

I chatted with him for a while before All might ask us to gather for instruction on the training. We were divided into teams and I got into a team with someone named todoroki and shoji.

When it was our turn shoji used his quirk which is called dupli arms to locate where the opponent team is. Then shoto told us to get out of the building for a while and proceeds to freeze the entire building.

He was about to go and claim the weapon when I stopped him "hey since you two have done your parts, let me do this one" I suggested as he turned on his heel letting me walk past him and claim the weapon by simply touching it.
