Yin
From the moon's side, you can attack, defense, and hide in the shadow well. This side of your quirk works well in any situation and the level of attack is higher than your other side. You can create any kind of weapon with this side. You can create portals and jet black fire that's 3/4 as hot as your light fire in full power. You can create jet black fire that traps and burns trough the inside. This side of your quirk can look invisible the darker the night became. It's a perfect way to sneak attack.

Yang
From the sun's side you can heal, protect, and move in the speed of light. You can create light from your palm or any part of your body. When there's the sun in the sky it will boost your strength. But you can still use this side well without the help of the sun. You can create things to defense and protect, the level of protect from this side is higher than your shadow side. You can make a weapon with this side but without strong sunlight backing you up, your energy will be drained and you will faint. You can also create blinding fire as hot as the sun. But you can control how hot it is.

Drawbacks
If you use one side of your quirk beyond your limit your personality will change for a couple of hours.
If you use the light quirk too much, your personality will change to a very childish and carefree personality.
If you use the shadow quirk too much, your personality will change to a flirty and full of tease person.
How do you know if you've used too much? You'll pass out if you've used too much of your quirk. When you woke up that's when your personality changes. But because of your grandfather's and father's training, your limit is not easy to reach.
Due to your quirk, you have a day every three month where your quirk will lose control, you have to lock yourself in a special room in your house that was designed to be indestructible to your quirk. You have to stay there for the whole day cause you won't know when it's going to lose control.
Your nightmare is when the Blue Moon and the blood moon arrived when the Blue Moon arrived your light quirk will grow wild and hard to control and the same goes with the blood moon and your shadow quirk. Not just grow wild, but they became dangerous.
