Before any of them can say anything, one of the medical teams interrupted. "excuse me, kid, you were the one who charged in and saved these two boys weren't you?" she asked while holding a note board.
"ah yes, I'm surprised you saw" I answered briefly
"one of the pro heroes informed me while I was checking them, are you injured, kid? a burn from the flames perhaps?" she asked again with a soft tone.
"no, I think I'm good, thanks for asking" I smiled and she wandered off.
"y-you saved us? f-from that villain?" one of them stuttered. It was the green-haired boy.
"Tch," the blond clicked his tongue.
I ignored the tongue click and smiled "yes, apparently. I'm surprised myself. But you did know that was dangerous right?"
the green-haired boy laughs nervously as he switched his gaze to his shoes.
" I-I mean, Don't get me wrong! you're brave for risking being held hostage just to save your friend out there!" I waved my hand around in front of me concerned that I've bothered his feeling.
He probably has received enough scoldings from the heroes and the medical teams.
"WHO YOU CALLIN FRIENDS HUH?! WHO TF WOULD WANT TO BE FRIEND WITH THIS SHITTY ASS NERD!!!??" The blond-haired boy snapped out of nowhere making me jumped lightly from the sudden burst.
"ka-kacchan, calm down you're scaring her" the green-haired boy tried to calm him down. But he had no luck
"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO DEKU!!" he yelled at him with his fist clenched in front of him. The green-haired boy covered his head with his arms around it squinting his eyes.
'so they're not friends? then why did he-' I looked at the two boys in front of me tilting my head.
The blond hair kept yelling at him, I raised both of my brows. 'He's screaming loudly and repeatedly. Don't his throat gets sore?' I look in fascination.
"AND WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT HUH?!" The blond yelled at me.
"K-kacchan!! You can't yell at a pro hero!!" The green hair waved his arms around in front of his chest.
"Pro?" I look at them in a confusion
They looked back at me with the same facial expression and seconds later it clicked.
"OH!!! YOU- YOU THOU-"I snickered a bit before continuing "NO NO NO, you got it all wrong" I laughed nervously doing the same gesture the green hair did before.
They seemed to look surprised but still confused. "I'm not a pro, I was just accompanying magnetite in her patrol" I explained the best I can.
"THAT HERO OVER THERE IS MAGNETITE?!?!" The green hair suddenly burst out. his gaze looking behind me. He seems to be a fan huh
"The famous pro hero who ends battles in seconds magnetite?! The hero who holds the 7th place in the china chart even till her old age magnetite?!?!" he muttered in excitement
My eyes widen as he kept babbling and muttering about grandma. 'he knows about her hero career more than me', ckckck' I continue to watch him in amazement
"OH MY GOD, SHE'S HEADING HERE" his face lit up but his body tensed up slightly.
" huh?" I turned around to follow his eyes and saw grandma indeed approaching.
"what's wrong?" I walked over to her. She smiled at me.
"you did great back there for your first save, your quick thinking definitely improved" she patted my head
