Thankfully, it turned out that they were only checking their surroundings before they went towards a pile of tree vines. Hinawi nila ito, at mula roon ay nakita nila Seraphina ang nakatagong kuweba.
"Gotcha," the princess muttered with a grin, before running off from her hiding place. Mabilis pa sa kisap-mata niyang sinugod ang dalawa. She jumped behind them, kicking one in the head before landing, and then proceeded to chop the other's nape afterward, quickly rendering them unconscious.
"Wow, wow! Ten points para sa free show," chanted Maviel who was still behind the tree trunk. "P'wede ka na pang-circus."
Tiningnan naman siya nang masama ni Seraphina. "E kung tumahimik ka r'yan at bilis-bilisan 'yang kilos mo? Alam mo na ngang mas mabilis sa ordinaryong tao 'tong kalaban natin, tapos pa-chill-chill ka pa d'yan. My God."
"Ito na nga? High blood masyado."
The two continued whisper-fighting while entering the cave. Tuluyan nang nawala sa isipan nila na ang utos ni Avery na maging maingat, manahimik, at iwasang mapansin. Minsan, sumagi na rin sa isip ni Seraphina na masamang ideya nga pala na silang dalawa ang pinagsama sa isang misyon.
But really, what could she do? She wasn't lying when she said Maviel was incapable of doing this alone. Zervis and Avery were the only ones who were truly cool-headed in this group but they were needed to fend off their enemies so they couldn't accompany Maviel. That, and the fact that it doesn't take a genius to know that Seraphina is better than Raiden in terms of accomplishing missions.
