Questing Time

Maya and I walked down to the pavilion together and for the first time since we arrived at camp, we acted like best friends. It had only been a few days, but I already missed it, and hoped we would not lose it again. Along the way, Maya stopped me by the Apollo cabin, "Why are we stopping?" I asked.

"We are stopping because you are gonna come in and get washed up,before dinner," Maya replied.

We walked into the cabin, and headed toward the bathroom and Maya suddenly whipped around, "Who is in here?" She must have noticed someone else was in here.

I thought for a moment that Maya was just losing it, but then someone stepped out of the shadows around one of the bunks... it was Aspen, "Maya why did you bring Ailee, in here?" He looked over at me, and I tried to hide my face so he would not see I had been crying, but failed, "Ailee, what's wrong, you have been crying?"

Maya looked at him with a huge look of irritation and I have a feeling if I had not stopped her she would have attacked him. I put my hand across her chest and said, "It's not worth it Maya, okay?"

"Okay."

"Nothing, it's nothing Aspen."

"Okay.,." And with that he walked out of the cabin and we went into the bathroom and washed my face and Maya braided my hair back. After we had finished I looked good as new, and we headed off toward the dining pavilion where I kept receiving worried glances from Aspen, but I ignored them. I walked over to my table and sat next to Asher, who mouthed the words, "You okay?"

I nodded and he smiled and we moved on to dinner, and after dinner Chiron called me, Aspen, Maya and Amethyst over, to talk about the quest. We went over everything and he sent us off to get ready, we were scheduled to leave early tomorrow morning.

I walked down the path toward me cabin with Maya,and ran into Asher along the way, who was waiting for me, so I said bye to Maya, and walked back to the cabin with him. After Maya was out of sight he asked, "Are you sure you are okay? Are you gonna be fine on the mission tomorrow?"

"I'm fine Asher."

"Are you sure?"

"Gods Asher! I. Am. Fine. Okay?! Can't you just take that for an answer?" I screamed and ran off toward the woods. Once I reached the woods, I turned back, and I saw Asher walking back to the cabin, and he was crying. Gods, Ailee, already ruining a relationship, he is your brother and was just trying to help, and you had to be rude and ruin it.

I walked toward the creek, and sat under the Willow tree that hangs over the edge of the stream, and just sat there, thinking. I had sat there for about 10 minutes when I heard a snapping sound behind me. I turned around to see who it was, it was Aspen.

"Oh, you're here, I am sorry, I can go..." Aspen said.

"No, it's fine, I just needed time to think, especially after ruining my relationship with Asher..."

"What do you mean, you ruined your relationship?"

"I mean, I got mad and blew up on him, let all my anger out, and sent him back to the cabin crying, when he was trying to help me..."

"Oh, well I have known Asher for a while, he is pretty forgiving, it will be fine, okay?"

"Okay."

So we sat there for the next hour just talking, or just sitting there enjoying the peace. And I finally headed back to my cabin and fell asleep instantly.

"AILEE, GET OUT OF BED RIGHT NOW, YOU HAVE A QUEST TODAY!!!!" Azalea screamed in my ear, as I was waking up.

"What time is it?" I muttered my eyes half open, and starting to fall asleep again, "it's not even light yet."

"It's 3 in the morning! but you have to get ready and when Chiron says first thing in the morning he means, first thing in the morning."

"Plus there is a surprise visitor, who heard about having a new sister, and wanted to meet her, we have met him before, he is our brother!" Asher pointed out.

"Who?" I asked Confused.

"Percy Jackson!!!" Azalea replied.

"Wait!?! The Percy Jackson!!? Like the famous one, people are always talking about? That one, and he wants to see me?"

"Yeah!!"

"Well, I better get going!“ I went to the bathroom and started to get ready, and I heard the cabin door, and thought that Asher or Azalea were leaving. Then I heard a loud squeal, and a ton of laughing, so I finished getting dressed and came out. I saw my two siblings, and a boy who was probably 4 or 5 years older, who looked just like us, sitting next to each other on one of the empty bunks.

"So is this my new sister?" The boy asked.

"Yep!" Azalea replied.

"Hi, I am Percy, it's nice to meet you Ailee, Asher and Azalea already told me a lot about you, I hear you beat Aspen on the first try, which by the way is very impressive, seeing as I taught him everything he knows, and not to toot my own horn but I'm pretty good." He grinned and said sarcastically.

We spent the rest of that morning getting to know each other, apparently Percy had decided to come back to camp with the others for a while, and enjoy themselves, I wasn't exactly sure what he meant by others,but I think he meant, the seven of the prophecy, the most famous Demigods in existence.

So, I said my goodbyes and headed off to meet Chiron and the others and begin our quest. We talked through everything once more, and then we headed off. Our quest had begun.
