I sat in the mirror admiring my hair which was now full of bomb ass wand curls. I pulled half of my hair up in a high ponytail and placed my cheer bow neatly on top. I know Tylar is going to be mad that I rushed her but she'll be okay.
It was the first week of school, meaning my schools football team would be playing their rivals, Liberty High. Us cheerleaders had to wear our uniforms because it was spirit week.
Playing Liberty was always bittersweet for me. I honestly missed that school and all the memories I had there, but there are many reasons why I would never go back.
Grabbing my school and cheer bag I hopped down the steps only to find Tylar sprawled out on the couch sleeping.
I popped her on her forehead causing her to jump and proceeded towards the kitchen.
I grabbed the money that my dad had left us to use for food.
"Ty! Where's Kasha?" I yelled referring to her bestfriend and our ride to school.
"Outside. Let's go." She replied.
As I was walking towards the door I turned my head to see Tylar glaring at her phone with the meanest mug.
I shrugged it off and kept walking to Kasha's car.
"Well her ass is sitting in the back." I thought to my self.
Tylar
I was pissed. Beyond pissed. They say your past follows you and that's exactly what they were doing.
I had to learn the hard way that everybody is not your friend. And the ones who say they love you will leave you for a quick nut.
"Guess who's coming to Carver!" I shouted leaning into the front seat.
"Not you if you don't back the fuck away from my ear!" Kasha yelled.
Ignoring her comment, I continued.
"Lauryn, Ashley, KJ, Makel, Taylin, and Devun." I said watching their faces twist more and more as I said each name.
"Stop lying, how do you know?" Kasha challenged.
I pulled up my twitter and went to KJ's page and recited his most recent tweet.
"Can't wait to see what fine ass females Carver has to offer. My crew and I can't wait to see new faces." I said putting emphasis on the new.
KJ was the brother of my ex, Makel. I never really had a problem with KJ after we all fell out. He still checked up on me from time to time.
Back at Liberty we all were inseperable. We seen eachother as brother and sister and always did everything together. At the time Lauryn was my bestfriend along with Kasha.
Sometimes I think about our friendship and how I miss it, but then I think about how Lauryn got pregnant by my ex boyfriend while we were dating and the thought becomes dead.
The worst mistake we all made, was falling for eachother. Getting our emotions involved knowing we shouldn't have because it would ruin our friendship. And that's exactly what it did.
We all use to be clique tight. We even made plans for the future because we thought we were forever going to be friends.
Daddy tried to tell Tylar and I that some of the "friendships" we had were not genuine. But of course we shrugged him off because he just likes to talk shit.
Mom was never fond of Makel. I didn't listen to her nagging ass either.
When they say your parents spot your fake friends before you do, I can vouch that that is one hundred percent true.

When Tylar said that those fraud ass niggas were coming to our school, I was at lost for words.
They're one of the reasons we left Liberty and I frankly don't give a flying fuck about them.
"Well I don't give two shits. Ima walk right past them like I don't know them. Cause I don't." I said.
"Yeah me too." Tylar agreed.
I mentally rolled my eyes at her. As much as she claims she doesn't, she still wants to be with Makel. I knew it and so did she.
We pulled up to Carver to see a swarm of students filing into the building. Kasha parked in her usual spot which was close to the school's entrance. As I got out the car I looked up and seen KJ, Kamron, Taylin, and Devun a few parking spaces down all posted up on KJ's Chrysler 300.
They watched us intently as we started to walk towards the school.
"Hey Tylar" KJ called out.
"Hey KJ" she replied hesitantly.
"Wassup Aubrie" he said to me.
I didn't reply. KJ and I have had history before, but I surely don't fuck with him now.
