Jimin turned to ask Jungkook what all of this was, but Jungkook had vanished. So, he decided to follow the rose petals that were on the floor. He began following the trail that ended up leading him to the kitchen. In the middle of the island in the kitchen, there was a heart formed of cupcakes. In the middle of the formation laid a card.

Dear my lovely Jiminie,
I love your cute little nose. It is just so adorable and boopable. My favorite moment of your nose was when we made cupcakes for Taehyung's birthday. This was super early in our relationship, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I love baking, and it was so much more fun with you. Also, I am positive that anything tastes better if it is on your body ;)
Love,
Your Jungkookie
Jimin giggled at what his boyfriend had written. He also remembered that day like it was yesterday.
~flashback~
Jimin and Jungkook laid in Jungkook's bed, scrolling through social media. It was close to two in the morning when Jimin realized.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" He yelled and jumped out of bed.
"Oh, geez! What's wrong Jimin?" Jungkook questioned confusedly. Jimin began pacing, hoping that would help ideas to flow.
"It's Taehyung's birthday tomorrow, and I totally forgot about it. I didn't get him anything!"
"Oh... well." Jungkook sat in his bed, trying to think of something. "Okay, what if we get up early in the morning and go buy him some coffee and pastries from your work?" Jungkook suggested.
"That's a great idea, but he hates coffee. He also doesn't like the pastries we sell there, because they aren't homemade."
"Oh." Jungkook pouted. "Ooo!" He yelled. "I have an idea."
"What?" Jimin asked.
"What if we make him cupcakes or something?"
"That's a good idea!" Jimin yelled. "Do you have everything to make cupcakes?"
"Yep!" Jungkook nodded. "Let's go."
So, the two boys set off their adventure to make homemade cupcakes at two in the morning. They were drunk on tiredness and high on life. What could possibly go wrong with that? Well, nothing. But, things did go down. By things, I mean Jungkook, of course.
Jimin was frantically trying to find a recipe online while Jungkook was casually getting ingredients from the pantry.
"What kind of cupcakes would he like? Not chocolate," Jimin rambled to himself. Jimin felt strong arms wrap around his waist. He felt light kisses behind his ear.
"Baby, calm down. I have a recipe," Jungkook assured Jimin.
"You do?" Jimin doubtfully asked.
"Yes, baby. I'll make the cupcakes, you can make the frosting." Jungkook offered. He pulled out a pen and paper and wrote down the instructions for his boyfriend to make the frosting.
Jungkook put the cupcakes into the oven and went to check on his boyfriend. Jimin was standing over a bowl, biting his lip.
"Are you good, love?"
"Oh, um... yeah? I finished it. I just don't know if it's good." Jimin reasoned. Jungkook reached his finger into the icing and stuck the same finger into his mouth.
"Mmm. Jimin, this is delicious!" Jimin looked at him with a wide smile. "Here. Try." Jungkook stuck the finger into the icing once again and put it up to Jimin's mouth.
