We all stood on deck as we waited for Mal to bring us the wand. I leaned against the side of the ship, Uma sat on the steps and Harry jumped from the upper deck to right next to Ben.

"Coochy, coochy, coo." Harry messed with Ben as he scratched his hook under the king's chin. "How's it feel to be the king now, eh?" He swung around to the other side of the pillar as Uma stood up.

"Give it a rest, Harry. Give it a rest. We don't want damaged goods." Uma told Harry who hung onto the rope.

"You said that I could hook him." Harry whined and I rolled my eyes.

"She said at noon." I reminded Harry who walked back over to Ben.

"20 more minutes." He held out his clock and the king inspected it.

"That says 11:30." Ben told him and Harry raised an eyebrow.

"Ah."

"You better hope your girlfriend comes through." I brandished my sword at the king who looked at it worriedly.

"Well, she's not my girlfriend anymore." Ben told us, looking down sadly and Uma raised her eyebrow.

"Leave us alone, Harry." she instructed him.

"19 minutes to go now." Harry mocked the king.

"Go." I warned him and Harry walked off.

"I get that you don't deserve this." Ben told us.

"'This?' This island is a prison, thanks to your father." I scowled at the boy. "I should be ruling the Underworld, not stuck here." I murmured the last part.

"And don't pretend to look out for us. Because no one's looking out for us. It's just us and our crew." Uma told him.

"So this isn't your mom's plan? Isn't that her necklace?" Ben asked Uma who looked down at the necklace.

"My mom doesn't care about me, either. Well, not unless she needs someone for the night shift." Uma told him resentfully.

"Ouch."

"I don't need your pity."

"No, you certainly don't. You're very resourceful." The king told her. "I don't see you tied up." Uma gave a small smile and I walked forward.

"All right. So let's trash talk Mal." I said and Ben shook his head.

"I'd rather talk about the both of you."

"Mm. Funny and a gentleman. I really hope I don't have to feed you to the fishes."

"Well, you don't. Set me free, and we'll go back together." The king said, trying to win Uma over with his boyish charm but it wasn't going to work.

"Oh, so now we get an invite? Gee, I wonder why." I leaned back against the boat.

"When you brought Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay to Auradon, that's the maddest I've ever been in my life. And trust me, I've been plenty mad." Uma told him.

"I never thought of it like that before. That I could've hurt the people I didn't pick. My plan was to start with four kids and bring more people over. I guess I was busy being king. That sounds lame. I'm so sorry. You're a leader, Uma. Hunter." He said to both of us and I rolled my eyes. "So am I. Come to Auradon and be part of the solution."

"Us? Part of your solution?" I asked sarcastically walking forward.

"Nah." Uma told him. "We don't need you. We're gonna get there on our own. Harry! Let's see what this puppy can do." She motioned to her necklace as Harry walked over.
