Over the next month the goodie-goodies devised a plan to take more kids off the isle. Last week they came and chose four kids to join them in Auradon. Today they pick them up but I don't care, it's not like Mal would ever let them take me off of here. She knows my powers are equal to, if not greater than her own and she can't risk me being out in the open. I knew that the first pick would be Dizzy Tremaine so before she had the chance to leave I went to get my hair done. I felt like a change was necessary. I got it cut short with a floof on top that went spiky when I styled it. It was still blue and I have to admit, the kid does a good job.

"Hunter!" I heard my dad yell from the other room and I rolled my eyes. I walked over to him to see him searching the room. "Where is it?" He asked and I looked at him confused.

"You gave it to me, remember? To look after." I reminded dad and he nodded.

"I need it. Hand it over." I gave him a 'seriously' look.

"What are you up too?" I asked and dad sighed.

"I'm getting off the isle. And I need the ember to do it." I sighed and took the ember from my pocket.

"Here." I tossed it to dad and he caught it.

"Thank you my boy." He clutched the ember and headed out of the door. I have to see this. I went out the other exit and ran to the barrier. I hid and watched as the purple limo pulled towards the exit. They got through and at the last second dad charged forward and punched his hand through. He used the ember and opened it up more, his hair catching fire. I took my chance while the barrier was open and lit my hair because while the barrier is open I might as well have some fun. I wonder if Mal can do it? She probably hasn't even tried it, doesn't want her secret getting out. They stopped the car and all hoped out. "I am a God! I don't belong here!" Dad screamed, forcing the barrier to stay open. Jay, Carlos and Ben ran forward and he blasted them to the floor. Go dad! Mal and Evie both watched and Mal's eyes glowed. She turned into a dragon and roared at dad. I'd do it while the barrier is open but I have no clue how long it'll be open and I don't want to be stuck in that form. Dad's face fell at the sight of Mal in dragon form and he blasted her. Mal roared louder and the wind was knocking dad back. I closed my eyes and cast the same spell as last time, pointing my hands at dad. He remained in place, keeping his opening steady and I smirked. I looked towards Evie and she was looking right at me. She saw the flames on my head and I could see the shock on her face. She gave me a disapproving look and I shrugged. While I was distracted Mal gave another roar and dad was sent flying backwards. Damn it! My spell stopped and my eyes changed back to normal green instead of the vibrant green I got when casting spells. My hair stopped burning, as did dad's. Jay helped Ben up and Evie helped Carlos up as Mal turned back into her human form in a puff of purple smoke. She looked weak and drained. Good. Dad stormed off and spotted me. He tossed me the ember and I caught it. "All yours." He said and I nodded at him. "And I know you cast a spell to help me." Dad paused. "A for effort." Dad walked off, probably back home as I tucked the ember back into my pocket. I watched the limo drive back towards Auradon and shook my head. I'll get you one of these days Mal. I strolled towards the ship and hopped on, swinging around to face Harry and Gil.
