Harry, Gil, all the pirates and I sat in the chip shop so we could watch Cotillion.

"All the ladies in the house, put your hands up in the air, all the fellas in the place, put your hands up in the air, let me see you break it down, let me see you break it down, let me see you break it down." Music played in the background on the TV as interviewers talked to people arriving at Cotillion. Evie walked into the frame and my eyes widened. She wore a beautiful long dark blue dress with a leaf sort of pattern that had a single strap over one shoulder, a cape that draped far behind her, red leather gloves and her hair was in a side braid with a single piece of hair on the side of her face and a broach.

"Evie, you look beautiful!" The reporter told her and I nodded my head slightly. The reporters got that right.

"Thank you so much." Evie beamed and I stared at the TV.

"Did you design the barrette?" Another asked.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? Uh, no, it's not my creation. Many of the hair accessories this evening are by a fabulous new designer, 'Dizzy of the Isle.'" Lady Tremaine's daughter? Evie smiled some more at the camera's then walked off. A few more people answered some questions and it switched to a scene from the boat.

"The future Lady Mal!" Some guy who looked like a candlestick announced. Probably Lumier. He whispered something to Mal and she walked down the stairs as people clapped. Everyone here booed. "King Benjamin!" He announced and the king walked down the stairs. Ben said something to Mal and then motioned to the stairs. Uma appeared and we all clapped and cheered. Ben and Uma held hands, ha, love spell. They talked to Mal who looked heartbroken, serves her right.

"Ben. Did you go back for her?" Mal asked and we could hear because someone got a microphone closer.

"He didn't have to." Uma told her. "I dove through the barrier before it closed, and I'm an excellent swimmer."

"You are." Ben smiled at her, uck.

"Aw, thank you." Uma smiled at him. It was a nice charade but I could see right through it.

"Listen, Mal. I just really want to thank you, I do, for everything. Thank you." Uma said, holding Mal's hand and Mal looked horrified. "Thank you so much."

"Don't you see, Mal? You were right. You knew that we weren't meant to be together. That's why you never told me that you loved me. Thank you. Come on." Music started and the two danced. The small group went up the stairs to leave when the candle dude spoke again.

"And now for the unveiling of King Ben's masterpiece, designed especially for his lady." He motioned at Mal. A stein glass window showing Ben and Mal appeared and people gasped.

"Cover that back up!" Uma yelled at the candle.

"I will not!"

"Um, uh-- why don't you tell everyone the present you have for me, Ben?" Uma stuttered as she took hands with Ben.

"I have an announcement! Uma will be joining the court tonight as my lady." his dad stepped forward and the king yelled at him. "Not now, Dad! The... Uh, so as my gift to her, I'm bringing down the barrier once and for all!" He announced and we all cheered.

"Mateys, we ride with the tide!" Harry shouted.

"Freedom!" I yelled as we celebrated.

"Fairy Godmother. Bring down the barrier." The king ordered her.

"I most certainly will not."

"I am your king!"

"Obey him." Uma told the old lady who looked shocked.
