(Y/N) POV
"Have a good night miss!" I yell happily as the middle-aged woman leaves with her cat.

"Mommy! Can we get the cake now?" Ji-Sung tugs at me gently and I smile down at him, nodding. "Yes, we can." I reply cheerfully and kneel down to him, kissing his forehead gently. "Will daddy be home tonight for it?" He asks hopefully and I smile sadly at him, "I'm sorry Ji-Sung." I hold his hand, "Not this time." I say and he starts to frown.

The door bell chimes and I stand up, ready to tell the person that the store is closing but stop when I recognize who is it.

He stood there, wearing black sunglasses on his face, a tightly fitting black turtleneck tucked into jeans, and black dress shoes. He held a grey hoodie on his arm, his dyed hair shining under the ceiling light.

"Pretty sure it's someone's birthday." He says and I smile brightly at him.

"Yes it is." I reply and move Ji-Sung towards him.

"Uncle Namjoon!" Ji-Sung cheers and runs towards him, hugging him tightly. "Look at you, growing up so fast." He laughs and picks him up, making Ji-Sung laugh.

"We had long rap battle tonight, but I made it out fast enough to come wish you happy birthday." He smiles at him and pinches Ji-Sung's cheek gently. "We're gonna go get a cake, want to come with?" I ask him and he nods smiling, "Sure, I'll buy." He says and I shake my head, "I can't let you do that." I laugh and watch as he sets Ji-Sung down.

"It's the least I can do, since I wasn't able to buy a gift." He says and I sigh in defeat. He smiles, causing his ears to lift as well, "Ready?" Namjoon asks and Ji-Sung bids.

"let's go!" He cheers and Ji-Sung starts to run out of the vet excitedly, Namjoon watching him.

"Ji-Sung!" I shout and Namjoon laughs. "It's fine, I'll catch up to him." He says and turns to look at me, giving me a thumbs up, "Ok?" He smiles.

He runs off and catches up to him.

I smile at them and walk behind them, closing and locking up the vet, I watch as Namjoon picks up Ji-Sung and tickles him, making him laugh and squeal in his hold, Namjoon smiling brightly at him, Ji-Sung laughing loudly.

I'm carrying Ji-Sung who is sleeping in my arms, while Namjoon carries the cake.

It's dark out now, but there's plenty of street and city lights to keep the area lit, the sounds of cars can be heard in the distance as we stroll down the sidewalk, the wind blowing softly in the spring air, cooling us down as we walk.

"(Y/N)..." Namjoon starts, making me look at him.

"Yes Namjoon?" I ask, he looks down at the cake as he walks and sighs.

"When are you gonna tell Hoseok?" He asks softly, and I feel my breath catch in my throat.

"Namjoon-"

"It's not fair to any of us." He frowns, "He has the right to know." He says gently, and looks back at me, our eyes meeting, his dark orbs glistening under the street light. "I can't." I whisper, "I can't do that to him." I reply and keep walking, we reach the house.

"It's been three years, coming onto four, he's obviously catching onto something." He says as he walks onto the first step.

"That's exactly why I can't tell him, we're all settled, and the contract-"

"The contract, right. Because you're gonna let a piece of paper stop Hoseok from knowing the truth." He nods, sucking in a side of his cheek and looking down at the cake again. "Well I'm not leaving you guys anytime soon, I'll wait as long as I need to, when you're free, I'll be there." He says and I unlock the door, he hands me the cake and opens the door for me, "Tell him I said hi by the way." He says and walks off.
