(Y/N) POV
My breath is heavy as I listen as the front door opening  and closing rapidly.

"(Y/N)?" A voice pipes in, I look over to the door way and see Hoseoks father standing there.

"I'm sorry for not being up front with you all those years ago..." He states and walks in front of me. He leans against the island bar and maintains eye contact with me nervously, swallowing harshly.

"But I didn't agree to it just because of the benefits." He claims and I straighten my posture awkwardly.

"When I saw how Hoseok looked at you then..." He looks away and smiles.

"It reminded me of the way I looked at his mother." He finishes and looks back of me. "He has never looked at anyone the way he did to you, no matter how many people I put in front of him." He smiles more as he reminisces.

"It got to the point I thought I'd have to look at male candidates." He let out a small laugh and shook his head.

"But you (Y/N)," He looks up at me with a gentle gaze. "You made him a better man. I knew that it was going to be you that would heal him." He says softly and I look at him confused.

"Heal him?" I ask, crossing my arms. He nods his head slowly and sighs.

"He was with a woman once before you. He loved her so much. But she left him for another man." He explains bluntly and I feel my heart stop for a moment.

The man that had the most commitment in the world had been betrayed by the one he loved most.

And even after he found out of the betrayal I had given to him, he came right back, even for a boy who wasn't even his real son. He bounced right back to Ji Sung and I without a second thought. He immediately tried to see what he could fix, what he did.

"You are apart of the Jung family too, (Y/N)." Hoseoks father speaks up, snapping me from my thoughts.

"And I know I'm not the best father in the world, but I care about you like I am your father. And Hoseok see's you as the center of his universe. And the only other person he ever cared for like that was his mother. And she ditched him when he was just a boy." He explains quietly, looking down.

"So even though he can be an oblivious knucklehead sometimes, he always means well. All I ask is that you let him prove it." He looks back at me and smiles, patting my shoulder and leaving the house.

I sigh and close my eyes, leaning my head back. Not only do I have to continue handling my own problems, I've also got to handle the new debt my dad has decided to hand to me.

I let out a frustrated huff and walk out of the kitchen, walking upstairs to Hoseok and I's bedroom. When I open the door, I'm met with Jung Hoseok sitting at the edge of our bed, his face in his hands and his hair profusely messy and his shirt loosely hung up his body.

"Hoseok..." I call lightly, closing the door behind me and sitting next to him.

He doesn't respond and I sigh, wrapping my arm around him and pulling him close, my other hand gently starts stroking his hair as I look down at him.

He slowly removes his hands from his face and instead wraps them around me tightly, leaning into my touch.

"I'm sorry." I mumble to him. He looks up at me, his eyes hopeful.

"I'd like to move past this, let things get back to... how they were before." I smile softly.

He slowly smiles back and nods his head.

"I'd like that too (Y/N)." He replies and kisses my cheek gently.

"(Y/N)... I'd like you to come and watch me during the semi-finals." He states suddenly and I look at him confused.

"I thought you were against me coming to those, since the whole thing that happened when I came for Yoongi." I say back and he nods his head. "I am, but I think that once you see me on the stage- I think that you'll understand why I love it so much and why- why I'm not going to stop going to them despite what happened." He explains and I move back from him.

"Hoseok-"

"Please (Y/N). I'll even be sure to get you a backstage pass alright? Please just come. They're next week." He pleads and I sigh.

"Ok-"

"Promise me." He adds quickly and I nod my head.

"Ok Hoseok,"

"I promise."
