A few days passed by and only a few hours stood between the gang and their destination - London. Credence was too busy listening to Frank Sinatra to notice anything. Dumbledore was enjoying a little off-time before he resumed his duties in Hogwarts, drinking some wine and relaxing before he was off to teach hundreds of scrawny little kids.
Newt and Tina were discussing at length about their plans in London. Tina decided to apply for an Auror position since she was out of a job (MACUSA happened to give her up to the Rio Ministry. The Rio Ministry decided to send Tina back, hence leaving her jobless). Newt had big plans for his updated version of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, and hoped to see his creatures soon.
It had been a solid three months since he saw his beloved beasts and everyday after the war, he wrote to Bunty. Pickett even sent him a little picture, splatted with paint and covered in a layer of green and red, showing that he was very angry at Newt because he hadn't seen him in quite a while.
"I do hope the Nifflers are okay" Newt hoped, "I'm expecting they don't give Bunty a hard time".
"I'm looking forward to meeting the Occamies" Tina said, "They're so adorable".
"I can't believe I just let my. . . beasts like that. They're going to be very cross" Newt said, "I mean, I hope they like the picture I sent".
"And I can't believe you fought in a war without your creatures" Tina added, "I mean, the creatures are literally your children. You'd never let go of them and you certainly wouldn't part with them".
"I wouldn't put it that way, but yes. It wasn't safe for them in the battlefield. I'd rather cut my own flesh than let my creatures fight in a war" Newt declared.
Suddenly Jacob skidded to a fierce stop in front of their room. He panted fiercely.
"Jacob! What happened?" Tina expected something regarding Theseus, with the whole Necromancy situation.
"It's Queenie!"
Tina bolted as fast as lightning to her sister's aid. She laid in bed, feeling all flushed and pale, like she hadn't eaten anything in years.
"What happened, Queenie?" Tina felt her heart rate jump up and down. If something happened to her sister, she'd feel horrible.
"She threw up" Jacob came in, followed by Newt.
"Threw up?" Tina asked, "Are you okay, Queenie?"
"I'm fine!" Queenie snapped. The blonde sister seemed to be a bit irritated, "Fine, I probably drank or ate something. Those deviled eggs seemed fishy".
"I think it's just seasickness" Newt pulled Tina aside to diagnose the issue, "I mean, a lot of people are prone to it. Perhaps it's that darn deviled eggs she's talking about. I had some and I felt nauseous too".
"That's because you added too much cheese to the eggs. Newt, how many times do I tell you to cut down on dairy while you're aboard on a ship?" Tina crossed her arms, "Look, I don't think it's seasickness. Queenie had traveled on a ship a lot of times and she's used to the experience".
"Would you mind?" Queenie's voice startled them, "What are you, conspiring against me?"
"Excuse me?" Tina interjected, "We're just trying to help".
"Then, don't!" Queenie became quite angry, "Jacob, be a dear and fetch me some lemonade. I could use some more sourness, as equivalent to Tina's personality!"
"Queenie, what happened to you?" Tina felt hurt, "Why are you snapping out on me? What did I do?"
"Just. . leave me alone!" the sister insisted, "Please. I don't want to hear anything anymore. Please, Tina".
