Theseus and Dakota made their way to the documents room where they had planned to find out who had resigned recently from the Ministries around the world. Meanwhile Anna was in the Auror's office, reading files and deducting a bunch of things inconspicuous to the eye.

Just then, they encountered with a minor problem.

Okay, a major problem. But that was for Theseus.

Her name was Marie and she was quite a coquette. And she had had her eye on Theseus for quite a long time.

"Hi, Theseus!"

She was quite chatty too.

"Hi. . Marie" he gritted his teeth.

"Lovely day for some coffee, huh?" Marie giggled.

Dakota stood there, feeling confused. This wasn't the first time she felt that way, in Theseus's company.

"Well, I suppose so" Theseus bit his lip.

"Would you like some? I mean, like, we can go together to fetch some. How about that huh? A date?" Marie fluttered her eyelashes.

"Oh, I'm flattered, but I have some important things to. . "

"Oh those things can wait!" Marie laughed, "Theseus, honey, come on! We're young, pretty and handsome. . . Perhaps we can get to . . know each other" - she finished with a wink.

"I'm very pleased but I can't. . "

"Theseus. . I'm sure you're still in the market! A pretty decent man like you should obviously have a beautiful partner. And I can fill in those shoes!" Marie didn't let him go. Perhaps she couldn't take a no for an answer.

"Shut up, Marie" Dakota stepped in, "Leave him alone".

"Oh, ugh" Marie's expression changed to disgust, "Perhaps you ought to understand that I'm allowed to do this since darling Theseus here, isn't. . committed".

"He very much is" Dakota snapped, "He's courting me".

At once, it felt as if a bomb had detonated. Theseus started to sweat. Marie's expression changed to surprise.

"Right" Theseus gulped.

"You? I beg to disagree" Marie dismissed.

"Yes we are courting. Now back off my boyfriend" Dakota snapped. To prove her statement, she held Theseus's hand.

"Yuck. You? A punk? A hoodlum?" Marie exclaimed, "Theseus, you need to have a better taste. I'll see you tomorrow, hopefully your tastes are a bit more. . better. Cheeri-O!"

And with that she was gone. Dakota dropped Theseus's hand.

"Woah, she's a menace" Dakota said.

"Wait, all those things you said. . " Theseus pointed to her.

"Shut up. It's obvious that you were struggling to get out of her wrath. I just helped you" Dakota shrugged,"Of course we aren't courting".

"Thanks for that"

"Don't mention it, Scamander".

As they were walking, since the documents room was in the other end of the Ministry, Theseus couldn't help but ask her this question.

"Now that we're friends, perhaps you could call me by my first name?" Theseus said.

"First names are boring" Dakota claimed, "But if you insist".

They made their way to the documents room and quickly managed to find the box entitled resignation letters written in bold bright ink.

Quickly they tried to narrow down some suspects. Dakota took care of the documents from the Parisian Ministry, the Brazilian Ministry and the Japanese Ministry. Meanwhile Theseus managed to search the British Ministry and MACUSA.
