Central City December 11th, 2013
There was a cold breeze in the streets as a girl in the black leather jacket walked through the dark yet slightly safe corridors, to get to her apartment.
Tonight her friend Lolita asked her to come the opening of the particle accelerator, but she declined or more like ditched her.
It was true she was secretly a geek and Lolita was well aware of that but she also promised her sister to have a girls night. This year Elise had been busy helping Oliver Queen aka the Green Arrow.
Yes she knew who the Green Arrow was, it wasn't that hard to figure out either. After 5 years this vigilante showed up killing people just as Oliver Queen was found alive after being presumed dead for 5 years!
Suddenly the sound of explosion made her jump and automatically duck and turn around to see what was the cause of it. Eva gasped eyes wide as a huge beam of orange light erupted into the sky a shockwave following closely afterwards as the particle accelerator exploded.
Her pale blue eyes were wide when a the redish energy hit her like a brick wall, causing her to be thrown back and onto the hard asphalt.
Her head pounded as series of migraines attacked her head making her let out a cry of pain and agony as she rolled over to stand up. She was unsuccessful because the moment her legs touched the ground various spots on her body stung, starting with her right shoulder. As if thousands needles were penetrating her flesh.
She couldn't take it anymore and started to take off her jacket to see what the cause of her hisses and grunts were. The moment her eyes landed on it they widened even more. It was a freaking tattoo!
After that other places that had felt like they were on fire suddenly were cold, freezing even. Her chest was moving up and down on a rapid pace, her hands went to grip her still aching head when she saw it.
White standers came into her view, Eva quickly looked for her phone in the pocket of her leather jacket.
When she found it she opened up the camera app on it and at the image she gasped, scared. Her hair was a silver color, which would've made her laugh at the irony but at that moment she was terrified. Her eyes were glossed over, the blue in them was almost gray!
Eva didn't know for how long she sat there until she heard footsteps coming towards her so she acted quickly and gathered both herself and her jacket and got up.
She was skipping through the streets, the cold breeze wasn't there anymore instead there was the sound of screams, and chaos that followed the explosion and an uncomfortable silence in her head, as if someone was blocking her to hear her own thoughts.
What the hell happened?!
