It wasn't much of a secret that Evangeline Silver loathed her youth for various reasons, but she went through the phases, got through the obstacles and moved along with her life to be here. Not here here, but rather her mental and physical state, she'd grown up a lot since then, and she didn't want the process to change. Not for the better and certainly not for the worse.
So obviously she was concerned about her own well being along with the rest of her... well, teammates. But most of all she was concerned about the outcome it might have on her sister. Would Elise remember her if she'd died by the hands of the pilgrim? Would her beloved sister even have the time to mourn her? Would she care?
All these questions were on an endless loop in her head, eating her away and she tried so hard to get her head straight and in the game so they could save mini Mick. Sara, Jax and herself were searching around the burning house for the younger version of the arsonist but to no avail, the three ran back into the open field breathless as Sara informed Rip, "Young Rory's not in there."
Jax along with Eva removed the cloth from their mouths also coughing, Jax added, "But we found his parents. They're dead."
The three took a long needed breath to calm their racing hearts and smoke filled lungs, Eva panted slightly muttering, "Where the hell is he?"

Their return to the ship didn't last very long since Gideon informed them that the time bitch was going to target Sara in 2007, also known as the year of Eva's downward spiral. Let's just say that particular year wasn't very bright.
