The college feud || a Reylo fan fic!

1) Game day

She always loved going and supporting her college Football team and today was no different. As she brushed her hair out of her face, and pulled on her gay best friends Jersey. She grabbed her phone and keys and locked her dorm before heading towards the field.

Waiting in the bleachers all by herself wasn't always a bad thing. Even if it was crowded - she still had time to think.

She knew that going to watch this game was going to hurt her time table, especially when she had an upcoming engineering exam but she didn't want to miss this one.

Poe had been preparing for months, always pushing his team to train harder and longer just so they could win this one game. She knew why he was so worked up though.

Tonight the resistance College was playing their mortal enemies - the first order college. Their rivalry was well known across town and it didn't stop when it came to the football team, even the robotics kids had a feud with one another.

She let her senses surround the game when the crowd went wild. She noticed towards the end of the game as the score was tied, that the resistance actually had a new kid on the team. He looked about her age and she could tell that he was really good. In fact, just as she thought this, the new kid scored the final, winning score.

She jumped up and cheered with the rest of her peers as the final buzzer went off. She got swept off of her feet as everyone ran towards the teams on the field.

After the crowd had died down it didn't take long to find Poe. He was surrounded by people grasping his hand in congratulations and slapping his back as he was team captain. Rey walked up behind him and he turned to face her with a massive smile.

"congratulations!" Rey yelled as Poe grabbed her in a massive hug.

"there will be a party tonight for us, wanna come?" he said holding her at arm's length.

"sure" she was positive that she could cram her study session in somewhere else so she nodded her head in agreement.

"that's my girl!" Poe said giving her a pat on the head before she turned to walk back to her room.

She wasn't too sure what she was going to wear but she knew she didn't want to be one of those girls who spent hours putting on makeup only for it to get ruined as they got progressively more drunk.

She settled with her jeans, Air Force ones and a cute black lace top, only adding mascara to the look, she was ready to leave.

She walked towards the bus stop and patiently waited for the bus to arrive. She would have gotten a lift with Poe, but he ended up leaving early to help set up. Poe insisted that he Pay for her bus trip, even after she refused and said that it wasn't necessary.

It didnt take long for the bus to arrive but even after the short trip, the sun had already set. She walked towards the house that was hosting the party and she pushed her way inside. She managed to slip past the warm, sweaty bodies that crowded the dance floor and across the room before she saw them. He was tall with shaggy black hair and he was flanked by a ginger haired man and a tall blonde girl. Instantly she knew that it was the players from the First order college.

"what are they doing here?" she asked Poe curiously.

"nothing's stopping them besides, maybe we don't have to be enemies after all" Poe said with a shrug as he handed Rey a drink.

She took a sip of the unknown concoction and wrinkled her face in disgust.

"ugh, Vodka" she said looking at Poe.
